Booking in went very well, room was ready and had everything we needed for the nights stay. Owners very pleasant but not in our faces all the time. Loved the homemade soap, which was made by owner. Had a good night's sleep and woke to a really nice home made breakfast. Home made bread and muffins along with fruit salad and waffles. Tea and coffee available anytime during your stay. Location was great as we were there to see icebergs. Just drove to bottom of street and we were on the water where we seen many icebergs. Friendly and clean. Shower had good pressure.

I stayed for 3 nights only, but my time was wonderful and felt longer than that. Outside of the town of Twillingate, but not too far, that's where you can find a beautiful, calm and convenient spot. Diana and Marvin are great people who take care of guests and make your stay even more comfy! I defenitely enjoyed my short stay and when I get back to Twillingate I know where to stay.

You plan to stay in Twillingate, go and stay at the Dove's Nest and enjoy! You gotta try the muffins.

Thank you!

Aaron

This is a very cluttered house. As advertised owners live on property with a dog & cat. The whole house smells like wet dog. Both nights that we stayed, the dog barked during the night. The house is small and every noise is clearly heard. Dining room is very crowded, self-serve breakfast, if you can move around the table to pick up the items from the buffet cabinet. Price is higher than other B&B's in Newfoundland, I would stay elsewhere if other accommodations can be found.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay here for our iceberg viewing adventure. The rooms are as advertised. Booking was an easy call, and arrival time was very flexible. The hosts are super friendly and breakfast was delicious. Breakfast was more than continental plus with french toast and sausages one morning, and pancakes and bacon the next. Home made muffins and jams along with yogurt and fruit was available. We enjoyed the view of icebergs on our way into Twillingate. The lighthouse and the hikes there were a very short distance up the road the other way.

We had a queen bedroom, with ensuite and deck and stayed for 3 nights. We very pleased with the interaction with our hosts and the location. We had several great hikes and access to the trail head was only a hundred yards up the road.

As mentioned by others, it's in a great location - north of the town centre and on the way to the lighthouse (and it's trails).

The room was very comfortable and spacious. There was a good tv, cable, wifi, wine glasses and a fridge in the kitchen for use by guests.

The hosts have tourist information and many helpful suggestions for things to do in the area and places to eat. Diana also makes soaps, creams, rugs, hand spun wools and more. We purchased several soaps to take with us.

The rate was $115 per night for the two of us with a continental breakfast. Diana also supplemented this breakfast with pancakes, sausages and lovely home baked goods over our three days. Fresh fruit salad was also a bonus!

We would happily stay here again.

My only criticism is that the sound of other guests carries through the halls/walls. It's not incredibly loud but it is noticeable.

We stayed here for one night while visiting the town of Twillingate. The location was great as it was only a 5 minute drive to the center of town. This B&B was very clean and cozy. The owners are very friendly. The continental breakfast was lovely with fresh muffins and fruit salad and other items. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach and while walking along the beach, we were fortunate enough to see the Caplin rolling in! It was a great site to see and the locals were there scooping up their fish! I would definitely recommend this place to stay!

It was a little hard to find without directions from someone town - this place is not on the GPS! But nothing is far away in Twillingate. A friendly cat and dog, and a comfortable room. They rooms are a up a few stairs, and they are not large - converted from original bedrooms in the house. The owners are friendly and a bit quirky too, like the house. Breakfast was fruit salad, muffins, waffles and sausage patties, in warming trays.

We stayed at the Dove's Nest B&B for two nights while visiting Twillingate during June. The B&B has three rooms and is recently certified. The owners, Diana & Marvin, are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was different each day, but included items such as homemade bread, homemade jams, sausage, waffles, homemade muffins and homemade quiche. Tea, coffee and bottled water are complimentary throughout the day. Our room was small, but comfortable. The other rooms looked more spacious, so if you prefer more space, maybe you can enquire ahead of time. Our only complaint is that the shower was a bit small. Everything was clean and tidy. Note the B&B is a bit outside the center of Twillingate, maybe a 5 min drive. But there is a hiking trail just outside the door. There is a cat and a dog on the property (both are friendly), in case you have any allergies.

Room and bathroom were clean and adequate size. Breakfast was satisfactory. Not all rooms had outside space to sit and enjoy. When toilets were flushed they made enough noise that everyone could hear. Not the usual Newfoundland welcome. When we first arrived we felt like we were intruding. For reservation we could use a Visa but we had to pay in cash.
