While visiting family in the area I booked the "Honeymoon Suite" for our date night. We were very impressed with the room, the bed was big and very comfortable, we loved the jacuzzi tub and the beautiful ocean view. The kitchen was great and I particularly liked that they had coffee available, we only had to bring cream (they provided coffee mate). We will definitely stay here again. Next time we'll try the hot tub which sits in a covered area that's surrounded on 3 sides for privacy while being open in the front for an ocean view.

Chose islands' Villa for our 1-night stay in Lewisporte. Had a room at the front, facing the road, which was no problem because there was not much traffic at night.
Liked the way the room was furnished, an excellent guide-book explaining in detail how it was put together. Lots of other useful information about Lewisporte and surrounding area provided as well. A thoughtful 20% off for breakfast coupon at a local bakery was a nice feature, unfortunately the place did not open until 9am.
Would definitely recommend Islands Villa, maybe the receptionist could have been a touch more welcoming and friendly.

My husband and I stayed in the Black Island room for three nights. We ate out, but could have cooked our meals in the room seeing that it has a full size fridge and stove. The bathroom was larger than most of the hotel rooms we’ve stayed in NYC. Our room was extremely clean and organized. I loved the NL art (I thought that was a very special touch). The view from our room window and the patio was amazing. We watched the sailboats coming and going. The villa is located in the center of the town and walking distance to Wolfrey’s Pond, which we did during our last night there. While staying here we visited Twillingate one day and did the Badger Chute Whitewater rafting on another day. I must add that there is a coffee place called the Kinden cafe that serves espresso, lattes, etc, and it’s just a couple of buildings to the right of the Islands Villa. My husband and I highly recommend staying here.

This is a great spot to stay in Lewisporte! The room is large, the bathroom is huge with a large jet tub and separate shower. It also has a full size fridge, stove and microwave. The harbour views and balcony in the rear add to the charm. My only complaint (not really) is the smallish shower.
Great value for your dollar.

Our room was clean, large, and had a great view of the water in Lewisporte. When we asked about the EV charger that's available at the hotel, we were booked into the suite that had the charger right outside the door. Very convenient and a halfway point for EV drivers who are driving the province coast to coast.

I would have given this location 4 1/2 except we had a front room and the traffic on the Main Street was constant until late at night, with lots of motorcycles.
A room at the back would be much better.
Other than that small factor, the rooms are very clean, cozy, and fully equipped!
Location is perfect for an evening walk around the nearby marina.

Our room faced the Main Street which might be a negative point for some, eg. the traffic. However it is not a 'downtown' location and for our 2 night stay it was very satisfactory in Unit #5. The Unit contained everything one might anticipate for Pizza pm meal (2-3 minute drive to Greco) and morning breakfast. Location was perfect for exploring coastal area nearby, Do take advantage of visiting those smaller towns.

I booked very late, so the only room available was a "business suite", for which the owner apologized twice. "It's small but all that I have left.", she told me on the phone. It was small, true, but very nicely appointed, very clean and comfortable. The area in the back of the building had a lovely view. We sat about an hour just watching the small boats come in for the night.
Each room is decorated with a specific area in mind. Most of the furniture is hand made locally. Some of the decorative linens were embroidered by the owner's mom. There is a small wall hanging in the room describing the furniture and the area being represented. They even describe the liniens they chose!
When we checked out, I told the owner how pleased we were. She volunteered to show me the larger suites. One had a hot tub and each has a handmade rocking chair.
This family obviously cases for its clientelle.
We really enjoyed our stay.

It was our first time staying at Lewisporte. We are so happy to have found the Island's Villa. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Right out the back was a beautiful large waterfront area. The location is great - lots of shops and all the convenience we needed within 0.5km, a bit more than an hour drive to explore Twillingate, a short drive from Chelsea's Fish & Chips (well priced, best seafood experience in Newfoundland), etc. Last but not least, the staff at Island's Villa are so friendly, caring, and responsive - It was a pleasure to meet you, Wanda!
