Wow, what can I say. Stayed there on Aug 9 and 10 / 2019 attending the Mussel Bed Soiree on Friday, with the concert happening Sat. Wandaaaaa is the hostess with the mostest!! Friendly, engaging, superior communication skills, feels the vibe of people and adjusts accordingly. Had the best breakfast for each day and each night there was a fire pit outside, where visitors mingled. Always making you feel at home, Wanda went well beyond a bed and breakfast host, where you were just a get up and go customer . The rooms were large and tastefully decorated , and each with it's own bathroom. Going back to next years concert, because we know , with Wanda still there, we know we will have a great time!! If you read this review Wanda, it is indeed heartfelt!! See you in 2020!!!

Without a doubt, Wanda was by far our best host outside of friends and family. Over 15,000 KM on our motorcycle trip this summer, staying in lots of different places and this B & B is at the top, by a long shot, largely because of the larger than life person Wanda is. Wanda is a character and in a good way! Expect many laughs and we will always have this memory. Hopefully she will be there when we go back. And we will go back. The house was extremely clean, our room was very nice and breakfast was great. We met others who had stayed here before and always come back. I have already told friends travelling in Newfoundland about staying here. Go is all I can say.

If you want a classy upscale B&B don’t come here! If you want a clean down-to-earth Newfie experience come meet Wanada. She is a character! She makes you feel at home. Sometimes she sings as she talks to you. The room is clean, with ensuite and serves the purpose. The bacon and egg breakfast is just fine. I would stay here again.

Don't expect luxury at this average B&B. The place looked tired but the room and ensuite were clean and private. Very informal service but very accommodating. Wanda's breakfasts were adequate. The Town lacked good restaurants and we were hugely disappointed by the choice for dinner.

On the positive side our room and en suite bathroom were clean, the breakfast, tho not the best, was acceptable and there is parking available on site. However we were surprised to find clothes hanging in the wardrobe and various personal belongings, including an item of underwear, in the drawers. The host (don't know her name as she didn't introduce herself) told us the items in the wardrobe belonged to a friend and those in the drawers (including tablets and receipts) must have been left by previous guests. Our host greeted us with enthusiasm but could then be heard swearing outside while speaking to her friends. Good accommodation is hard to find in Lewisporte and this is ok if just staying for one night.

Arrived late in the day, Wanda met us at the front door, I was a little nervous when it seemed that she did not have our reservation from Booking.com. But all was good, she even gave us choice of rooms that were available. The room was clean and big enough for sleeping, it had an adjoining washroom with a shower, which was perfect. There is a common area that anyone can use, and the outdoor space was great. Plenty of parking of Church street. We stayed for 4 nights, and were treated extremely well. full breakfast in the morning coffee was always ready, and Wanda always came outside (i smoke) to make sure i had a cup. Wanda offered us use of the laundry facilities, although wee did not use them, and she asked us each day if we needed clean towels, or if we wanted our sheets changed. We never met the Host, just Wanda, She gave us suggestions for meals etc. I would stay here again if I was ever back to Lewisporte.

This Bed and Breafast has small rooms but they are very clean. We never met the host but the person on site, Wanda, could not do enough for us. She was an absolute pleasure. Breakfast was basic but did the trick.

We had a wonderful overnight stay at this bed and breakfast. Wanda was the perfect hostess. Our room was clean, private and the bed was very comfortable. Everything that we needed was supplied and the common area was a perfect place to relax. We had a great hot breakfast of bacon and eggs, toast, jam juice and coffee. I was even offered coffe to fill my thermos! The rates were very reasonable. We would definitely stay there again. We loved the decor, bright colours and lots of artwork mixed in with antiques and interesting knickknacks.

We spent one night here after we visited Twillingate and the islands. The room we had in the basement was very clean. We found the hosts to be welcoming and friendly. They had good knowledge of the area, and recommended an excellent place to eat. The breakfast of french toast was good. Don't attempt to load your luggage into your vehicle prior to paying--apparently an issue.

We were offered either a queen sized bed on the main floor of this tiny bungalow or a twin bedded room in the basement. We went for the main floor, but the room was at the front of the house which faced a noisy road. The room was very pretty, very clean but tiny. There was only a bed and two night tables in the room, no chair and nowhere to put luggage other than the floor. The bathroom had a small sink, again with nowehre to place toiletry bags other than the floor. There were no drinking glasses or tissues in the bathroom or the bedroom. We were given a bacon and egg breakfast with one slice of cheap white toast for breakfast. Two types of juice were offered, right out of the cardboard containers which were placed directly on the table. There was a sign in the room advising no alcoholic beverages could be consumed in the common sitting room, but there was nowhere to sit in the bedroom and no glasses to drink out of.
