Detailed Reviews
Jean and Milt are wonderful friendly Newfoundland hosts with great stories to tell and knowledge of the local area. Our room was very comfortable with a view of the ocean, our own small deck, and private bathroom. Breakfasts were amazing - especially enjoyed all of Jean’s homemade jams and preserves.

We were checked in by friendly owners Jean & Milt. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Parking is a bit difficult in the back so best to try backing in, as tight to get out. Quiet time is between 11 and 7. If you are early to bed make note rm. 5 & 6 are right behind the kitchen. Breakfast is 7:30 - 9, with yogurt, fruit, OJ, excellent coffee and excellent mains. Seating at breakfast is spaced (social distancing) and we felt comfortable. There is a separate entrance and private bathroom each for rm. 5 & 6. Nice private deck outside each for rm. 5 & 6 and cabins. Good honest Newfoundland hospitality by Jean & Milt.

Cosy home in a ideal central Gros Morne location hosted by a truly lovely couple. My room and ned provided a terrific respite after a long day on the trails. The home was full yet very quiet throughout the evening and overnight. That's not always the case with some bnbs as we all know.
The breakfast was fantastic and provided ample fuel for the first hike of the day.

Jean made us feel welcome when we walked in the door. I wanted to take her with me when I left Norris Point! I was amazed by her knitting and quilting. She is a very talented artist. I enjoyed spending time with Milt watching TV and hearing about their wonderful trip to New Zealand.
Jean's breakfasts were unique and delicious! She also makes her own jams from local berries that Milt picks. And she uses fresh chanterelles. She also makes fish cakes and banana bread and offers tastings.
Jean and Milt made our stay in Norris Point very enjoyable!

The Out East Bed and Breakfast is a wonderful base when visiting the Bonne Bay area and Gros Morne National Park. Its location is perfect: near all the major area attractions, yet welcoming and quiet. From our room, No. 6, we even enjoyed a spectacular view across Bonne Bay to the Tablelands!
Out East is a family-run business, and Jean and Milt are perfect hosts. Jean's warm personality and breakfasts were special. She even provided gluten-free options for us, including freshly-baked English muffins for her Eggs Benedict! Milt's local roots and background in marine biology provided the wealth of knowledge he shared about the local area, and the Bonne Bay marine ecosystem.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, and have already booked for next year!

Our hosts were most welcoming, with dining and attraction suggestions (my cousin does that show!) and a willingness to accommodate our every need. We stashed some of our luncheon snacks in the community fridge, but left them there while we enjoyed delicious home-made breakfasts of egg flans and casseroles ("anybody can make bacon and eggs") and home made scones and muffins, which Jean makes tiny so you don't feel guilty having two!
On entry there was an odd odor, probably something to do with being so close to the sea. We soon adjusted, and spent most of our time on our private deck when we weren't sleeping. Other guests were companionable and seemed as at ease as we did. In the sleepy little town of Norris Point, which doesn't offer much in the way of nightlife, but has a nice harbour with a local pub (that closes early) and a picturesque hiking trail.

My partner and I loved this place. The owners are so hospitable and lovely. We felt like we had known them for years! Jean makes delicious breakfasts. They even packed us one for our red-eye flight!
The location is nice, with proximity to the ocean. It is in a sleepy little town very close to Rocky Harbour (a hub for food, entertainment, and shops). Overall, a lovely stay with cottage charm and the famous Newfoundland hospitality!

Lovely older home in Norris Point. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice sitting area to visit with the host and other guests. Jean (host) was friendly and knowledgeable about the area. She gave us lots of advice about “must see” attractions in Gros Morne and area. Breakfasts were delicious, with more than enough food available. In our 5 day stay, each breakfast was unique. Excellent experience. Highly recommended

Was very easy to book, all Information was explained well in advance. Room was cozy and clean. Even sharing a bathroom was totally fine. All guests were respectful. Hostess was kind and helpful. Breakfast was plentiful. Would go back again. You need a car to access local restaurants as none are very close by.

We stayed here in early September for two nights in a cottage, Terry was a friendly host, cottage met our needs as we explored Grosse Morne N.P. and Rocky Harbor. Terry allowed us to drive our motorcycle thru his yard and up to the door.

You'll have to contact Terry. However,k I'm sure you'd find a room available although I don't know about twin beds. Obviously, cash is always preferable.
