This inn lies right by the ocean with a fantastic view of the mountains. Very comfortable beds and bathroom facilities. Great place to watch sunrise. We even saw a minke whale one morning while having breakfast. The staff are very friendly. The sun room is great if you prefer to watch sunrise inside. Very clean and a top notch restaurant right next to it. Its our 3rd time staying at this Inn. Will return again for sure. This time, our internet was a little sporadic and am sure the bug will be fixed next time we go back. The Inn keeps a very strict operational protocol during the pandemic and we feel very safe. Social Distancing is well maintained and hand sanitizer stations are everywhere. Even restaurant staff are keeping great COVID-19 practice to a T.. and for that we feel safe and THANK YOU.

Last minute switch to a 6 night stay at Neddies turns to our advantage. The room on the main floor was basic but clean and a huge bathroom with shower, tub and large area for wet clothes and more. Small fridge for beverages. COVID rules prevented daily cleaning but fresh towels etc available for the asking. Large common area with great views across the Bay. the upstairs Black Spruce restaurant was fabulous for dinner and accommodated our early morning needs for a full breakfast. Front office staff helpful and friendly.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Neddies Harbour Inn. We had a lower level room overlooking the Bay with wonderful views of the snow covered peaks of Gros Morne. The rooms were very well equipped, bed very comfortable. We had a fridge in our room and wine to purchase if we wanted. The restaurant served us two excellent dinner meals and breakfast. Highly recommend you book ahead to eat at this restaurant for dinners during your stay you will not regret it! one of the best in the area. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!

You will love the setting of this hotel, it is serene and beautiful. The hotel itself is plain .
The rooms are spacious and clean with a simple light wood decor , . Be aware that breakfast is from 7:30-9:30.. and there are no exceptions as i sadly found out.

This is not a sophisticated upscale hotel so we were happily surprised with the
onsite restaurant Black Spruce .. We ate 2 delicious dinners there that were
presented beautifully and tasted equally so.

Be sure to book in advance.

2 bedroom home had everything we needed to enjoy our stay, catch up on laundry and prepare meals when we chose to. Also very much enjoyed the seafood chowder and tenderloin meal at the Black Spruce. Complimentary breakfast was great. All the staff we met were very helpful, kind and made our stay one worth remembering and Neddies worth recommending.

An absolute gem. The location is perfect on the edge of the harbor in the center of Gros Morne, so nothing was far. The restaurant was the best food we ate in 3 weeks traveling through New Brunswick, PEI, and Cape Breton. Great views and fantastic quality, preparation, and taste. But what really made the hotel exceptional was the staff. From the front desk clerk to the spa to the restaurant, every single person was friendly, sincere, and warm. They truly made our stay special. They would preheat the sauna, make sure we got time in the private hot tub agter long hikes, and gave us great recommendations but it was their constant smiles and happy attitudes that made us want to move in! Management give them all a raise!!

My three girlfriends and I were hiking and camping in Gros Morne and we decided to book a hot stone massage with Jennifer at the Neddies Harbour Inn spa. I hardly ever write reviews, but Jennifer gave one of the best massages of my life! The hot stones were heavenly and the spa room was peaceful and lovely. The kindness of the staff at the Inn was second to none. We also had the opportunity to sit in the Inn's sun room and enjoy the most delicious selection of coffees and teas as well as the beautiful view. I left feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated! Thank you so much. Highly recommend to everyone!

My husband and I took an early first year anniversary getaway. We’re both from the province abs have been in the area before. The room was clean & tidy. The bed not so comfy. The dining area is amazing, great food and service. Very high class. My most favourite feature was the spa, more specifically the esthetician. Jen was very friendly, kind and amazing at her job. I would 100% recommended experiencing one of her services to complete your stay. You won’t regret it. Overall great stay.

Neddies Harbor Inn is a wonderful place to come back to after a day of hiking and sight seeing in Gros Morne National Park. You will love the spectacular views from the Inn and do not miss the fabulous food served by the in-house restaurant, The Black Spruce. The rooms are inviting and very comfortable. Highly recommend our corner room, Shag Cliff, with a panoramic view. Everyone from reception to the staff in the restaurant were so helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!

Stayed in the Shag Cliff room, wow what can I say!!! Most incredible views from 4 windows. From morning till night l had a big smile on my face. Pinch me am I dreaming. Comfy King size bed, coffee, fridge, never even turned on the tv. Grabbed a book from the library located in the lounge and read in my down time. The couches were so soft and comfortable, roomy, bright, lots of windows to take in the view. I had seen binoculars and board games to keep one busy. A deck leading outside with that spectacular view and plenty of seating outside. Did I mention the view??? Seriously even the dining room had the view!!! I had a lovely crusted cod dinner, the mussels featured that night, were excellent. Would highy reccomend Neddies Harbour Inn.

I'm so happy you'll be staying with us! We start breakfast hours start at 7:30 a.m. and if you need to leave earlier we can arrange a breakfast to go. Our hot tub is available from around 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. You're going to love L'Anse aux Meadows!!
Answer from Neddies

Good Morning and thanks so much for your inquiry with us. We generally recommend a three night stay in this area as there is so much to do and see but of course that really depends on the individual. There are many beautiful walking and hiking trails and boat tours as well as cultural and musical offerings. For a group of three couples you would need three rooms however we also have a beautiful three bedroom house located next to the Inn that also may be suitable for you. Perhaps you could call and discuss your options, we would be happy to help you with your planning.
