Pros: Distance from ferry is about a 20-30min walk. Easy to find.
Cons: Bed sheets & towels were dirty, no overnight service - beds stay as you leave them, no towels changed, bath was not cleaned.

If you are not terribly picky, ok for 1 or 2 nights.

The worst place I've ever stayed. Right away the overpowering smell of old cigarette smoke and mold. After clearing away some of that by stowing the blankets, curtains and bath mat in the closet, we find a cockroach behind the lamp and a pair of underwear behind the curtains. Felt alarmed to find that the smoke alarm had been intentionally disabled by taking the battery out. This was compounded by the fact that the host is not present onsite to assist. Also, we find out the windows are fake, so they do not open to the outside, so we can't get air that way. Hoping for some fresh air because the A/C shut off multiple times, and just recirculated the old moldy smokey air, we open the door to the patio. Too bad it smells of cat pee. We mostly resorted to just breathing our own recycled breath under the sheets, which thankfully did not smell of any of the above. After that, the roosters start crowing. Time to go, and good riddance!

At the Check out we asked the staff member is everything ok, she said everything is great so we paid and we left. When i came home i had additional charge of $25. When i asked them why, they said that they couldn't find room key. Room key was not with us and i am very upset that she didn't say smth right away. I wonder if they charge smth in addition to every guest?

It was a fantastic stay. The hotel texted me as soon as our room was available.(well before the published time) We had a king size bed. The room was spotless. The courtyard was very nice. We did not spend much time there, since we went to see the island. You will need a golf cart or a car to get around. The hotel was outstanding.very simple. All we needed was a clean safe place to sleep and we found it. We will stay there again.

Maria was super nice and friendly! The room was very clean and beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean. Staying here gave a great cultural experience. Location was very close by to everything and had a fantastic stay here! Throughout my trip, the best night sleep was here. Felt very comfortable staying here.

First of all this hotel is also listed on TA as a B&B. It's not a B&B they don't serve breakfast and no breakfast is available, even for purchase. The hotel manager, maria, will setup a coffee pot in your room if you ask. There is a coffee shop about 1/2 mile walk that make a great breakfast.
The hotel is more like a motel since the rooms open into a beautiful outdoor courtyard. The rooms are very clean and recently built. The tile work, A/C unit and condition of the of the rooms are new. They have 5 rooms and a 2 bedroom apartment to rent. The rates are reasonable and there is great value staying here.
The hotel is in a residential area of Culebra where we felt safe. We found the whole island to be safe. Oh yea, you will hear chickens crowing and dogs barking. You'll need a golf cart or vehicle during your stay to visit the different parts of culebra.
Maria had two beach chairs we borrowed during our very enjoyable stay. Adding, a beach umbrella would be helpful. Thank you for a sharing your beautiful island with us.
