I decided to take a week long snorkeling vacation without my husband and wanted to find accommodations on Culebra that were affordable, offered privacy and made me feel safe as a single woman traveling alone. Club Seabourne satisfied all of my requirements. I had reserved The Nest which was a room in the main building, but upon arrival was informed that I had been upgraded to a villa at no charge for the entire week. I was thrilled, because when I was making the reservation, I contemplated a villa but could not justify the additional expense. I stayed in #6 near the top of the hill with a view of the bay. Just lovely. The room looked exactly what you see in the photos, which does not always happen when you view places online. The sliding glass doors overlooked the bay which was great. The towels were incredibly soft and fluffy. I usually have very low expectations for towels in hotels but these are much nicer than what I have at home. The bathrobe was consistent with what I usually see in hotels, i.e. not too impressive. But I never expect too much from the bathrobe, anyways. They do include shampoo, conditioner and moisturizer, so I didn't have to bring my own and theirs were better quality than what I typically see at a hotel. I do wish the shower had hotter water. I never really got a hot shower the entire time I was there, but I also never brought it up to management, so there may have been an issue they could have fixed, but I never asked them to look into it. I did ask about how to turn on the ceiling fan and they said the only way was to manually pull the chain, which would have involved standing on the bed and reaching up to do it. I never really felt like doing it...so I did not. It would be nice if there was an automatic way to turn on the ceiling fan from the remote or an additional switch on the wall. The air conditioning was great. Took me a day or two to figure out how to get it just right for myself but once I did, I was able to get it at just the right temperature for myself. Breakfast is included in the accommodations and is good. Choices are somewhat limited, but I don't have huge requirements for breakfast so I had a cheese omelette every day which gave me the protein punch I wanted for breakfast to get me ready for a day of snorkeling. The dining room was lovely ....screened porch overlooking the pool. I think they had Pandora playing ....and it was on a channel suitable for the location (every cover of "Girl from Ipanema"). Carlos and the wait staff were wonderful and completely satisfied every request. One evening I took dessert to go from dinner but the restaurant did not have any plastic utensils to give me, Carlos let me take a fork from the dining room so I could enjoy my peanut butter pie in my villa. I would love to make this an annual trip, either by myself or with my husband or friends and will definitely suggest staying here again.

Perfect place to stay on the island of Culebra. The staff was amazing especially Carlos. He was helpful with local suggestions and anything we needed. We had a lunch packed for one of our day excursions to Culebrita. The property had everything we needed and could have wanted. We can’t wait to come back!

The hotel is located in a hill overlooking Fulladosa Bay. Most rooms have a view to the bay with the exception of the large family cabin in the back of the main building. The rooms are spacious and balcony, they have a small fridge and a safe. They include breakfast and it was very nice in taste and presentations. I recommend you rent a car to be able to enjoy Culebra.

We really enjoyed our stay and found the Manager, Carlos to be pleasant, attentive and kind. He was there a lot and always willing to help. In general, the staff was also very nice. The atmosphere was lovely and peaceful - just what we wanted! The other guests were also pleasant. Has to be the best place to stay in Culebra!

we lived one night at this villa in Christmas time. Very nice place with great views and amenities, standard breakfast. However, the manager is not so good to talk to. first of all, he is not always there. we waited for more than 10 min twice in our stay for the management. secondly, when we asked for late check out, the answer is an absolutely no without telling us we can leave our baggage in the hotel(we found out by ourselves later). Although hot water is not a necessity on the island, we like to take shower in warm water. But, we found out when guests next door were taking shower, our water became super drizzly. I waited 10min during my shower until the person next door stopped using water. overall,I would expect this place to be better with the price.

Hi. Sorry for the delayed response. It's been a while, so don't remember how much we paid. But you can find that directly from them, as prices change according to the season.

The staff said there are fewer trees but the cabins didn’t suffer much damage. We didn’t see any damage to the family villa and the grounds were beautiful as we found them.
