If you close your eyes, you can almost hear the jingle of spurs and swords of the Civil War generals who stayed in this beautiful home over 100 years ago. This historic property, built in 1830, is a wonderful place to stay -- perfect service, excellent food and innkeepers committed to a very high level of satisfaction. With old plank...

The owners did a fabulous job of maintaining the building's historic roots with just enough updates to make it feel luxurious. Original floors, period decor, etc. meet elegant bathrooms, wifi, and the best gourmet breakfast we've had in ages. Sharon goes out of her way to make sure you have everything you need to enjoy the B&B and the town...

It is refreshing to meet people who are living their dreams. We drove into Orange, Virginia, on a family history quest. While our family tree research turned up nothing, we did find a reason to return, The Holladay House. The Holladay House sits in the middle of Orange on Main Street, walking distance to enjoyable local restaurant and a short...

I must admit, the specialty french toast is definitely worth the return trip alone :) We MIGHT make an extra slice to fight over. Even though you came up empty with your family tree research, we're so excited to have been your silver lining during your stay :) Thank you for staying with us and enjoying a little bit of...

My husband and I stayed here to celebrate our 15 yr. anniversary, and we couldn't have made a better choice! The home is lovely--a great historic property located within walking distance of several restaurants and shops, and a quick drive to wonderful wineries. Montpelier is just down the road, and we were able to get discounted tickets via Holladay House....

Stayed 2 nights in Helen’s Haven, which was bright and cheerful (even nicer than the website photo). The bathroom is small but en suite. Very clean.
