I arrived late in the evening during a very hectic week of business travel. Sharon showed me to my own little oasis of a room, which provided a much needed respite. I awoke the next morning to the most wonderful breakfast. I continued on my travels rested, refreshed and ready to go!

I would HIGHLY recommend staying at the Holladay House. Innkeeper Sharon is SO accomodating! We were traveling with our vegan daughter, and Sharon was so nice and helpful to us... Not only did she make yummy vegan breakfasts for our daughter, she also recommended where we might go for dinner that would have vegan choices. Sharon was so friendly and...

There were 3 of us adult women who stayed in The Oak Room which was quite large and big enough to accommodate a very comfortable rollaway bed. The location is about 2 miles from Montpelier and approximately a half hour from Monticello. It is like staying at your favorite aunt's house with puzzles, dvd's, and a nice library of books....

Just what I needed after several work events in a row. While touring Orange County was part of a work event as well, retreating to Sharon and Darryl's Holladay House was a treat to say the least. The accommodations were luxurious and the staff was nothing but super gracious and friendly. Breakfast was to die for! Will absolutely return.

My wife and I stayed at The Holladay House as part of a tour of Orange County. We visited many of the B&B's in the area all of which were wonderful. However, we feel we were lucky enough to stay at Holladay House. Sharon and Darrel were such accommodating and charming folks who were ready to help with whatever we...

The Holladay House is a charming B&B in Orange, VA, a town in the heart of central VA's wineries and close to both Madison's and Jefferson's homes. The proprietors, a young married couple, are warm and welcoming, and they are ready with delightful treats -- such as warm cookies and a fun coffee drink (Starbucks can't have more flavors than...

We just returned home to MN from a 4 night stay at the Holladay House B&B. It was everything everyone has said and more. It is a very interesting 19th century home transformed into a B&B by people who care about the building's history. My husband and I loved our room (the Madison Suite). He frequently wakes up before I...

Once or twice a year, I like to spend a few days at the Holladay House B&B. I've been doing this for four or five years now. It is a great place to just get away to and kick back for a while. I've just returned from a 4-night stay, and it was the best and most relaxing visit yet....

My husband and I have been married for 2-1/2 years. We have stayed at more bed and breakfasts than my parents who have been married for 31 years. We have visited B&B's in a variety of states. Our experience at the Holladay House was by far the best out of all of our prior experiences. The innkeeper, Sharon was a...

We took an anniversary getaway to Orange, VA and stayed at the Holladay House Bed & Breakfast. The B&B is not only clean and shiny throughout, it is a fascinating historic home with lots of character. It is furnished with antiques and interesting vintage pieces while providing every modern convenience and amenity. The rooms are large and delightfully furnished. Our...
