The room was tidy at first look, upon a closer look, mould on tiles around spa, mattress needed to be replaced years ago, mirror dusty, no vent in toilet, benches all on a lean and came with one friendly roach. Manager was not friendly needs people skills.

Run down neglected resort. Manager is clueless and a staff who don't care, hydro pool over chlorinated unusable, room with broken power point, phone non usable and shower fittings falling apart, Manager was told months ago nothing done. Grounds are weedy and shabby, like the rooms nothing renovated for years. Don't bother find somewhere nice.

I stayed there for 5 nights and absolutely loved the atmosphere. The cabins and rooms are nestled in the rain forest, smells, sights, sounds and all. You get a good sense of privacy and the staff are more than helpful for any of your needs. It is not a 4 or 5 star hotel, nor is it meant to be, it... More

I have to amit to being very concerned about Tabglewood Gardens after reading these shocking reviews. But all my concerns were speedily put to rest very soon after my arrival. The owners did all they cld to assist me, especially after hearing I was on my own without a car (I can't drive due to health issues). They drove me... More

I recently stayed at tanglewood gardens for my daughters wedding. I found the accomodation not value for the money. Room was very run down, cobwebs and spiders in the room. Cleaners do not do a very good job with cleaning the room. The marquee that was used for the reception was misleading from the photos. The ground was dirty and... More

Pretty location. A free bottle of wine is given to you upon arrival, but no there's no meal option. We soon realised that no meal option was a bit of an issue as there are very few places open of an evening during the week. There is a sign above the sink warning guests of a $44 fee if the... More

We spent last weekend in a rainforest cabin at Tanglewood Gardens. Upon arriving at 7pm, we thought what a lovely-looking place it was, little cottages set in the rainforest gardens.. then we stepped into our cabin and were assaulted with an overwhelming mouldy smell. Clearly the owners had attempted to mask it with a hidden air freshener behind the chair... More

It was a private retreat in the rainforest, We enjoyed our stay in a rainforest cabin. It was a little bit run down and could do with a little bit more tlc but over all we liked it. I think lily pond needs a pump to stop the water being stagnant. Reception also needs some attending to as first impression... More

I took my husband here for a romantic weekend when he got the all clear from a terminal illness that he has. If I could have given this no stars I would have. The lady at reception should not be there it was quite evident that she didn't want to be either. The car was parked and my husband and... More
