Loved the camping holiday, first with our two small boys. They thoroughly enjoyed all of the activities especially riding Lucky and Thomas. We will be back, next time please order no rain as the mud was a bit boring! :)

Bestbrook is a fantastic 'free-range' experience for small people - thanks for sharing it with us. We'll see what our connections can come with in regards the weather for next time ;-)

We camped on the creek for 3 nights. The serenity was wonderful. Chilly at night, perfect days. Our little children had a wonderful time. Animal feeding was a big hit. Adults and children all can get involved. Horse rides, milking and feeding cows. Collect some eggs and cook them for breakfast. Children's playroom up at the homestead/restaurant is amazing. We...

Good value for a family caravan trip, although a little more expensive than other places, this is more than made up for by the free activities (animal feeding, damper, whip cracking and boomerangs) which the kids loved. And a cool playground and walk to the cool Gnome cave. Caravan site was spacious with a good fire for the cold spring...

Thank you soooo much, not only was it a beautiful place to stay the staff were so friendly and inviting, admenities were clean and there was so much fun stuff to do learn about the country life, horses, cows and sheeps, goats and chooks and ducks and bird. Beautiful damper making and butter churning. Myself, my brother 17yo and my...

We stayed in one of the cabins recently and yes they are 3 star but comfortable and have all you really need for your stay. Staff were so friendly and Bruce is just hilarious yet informative. We really enjoyed chatting with him. Big hats off and many thanks to Elise for her concern, help and advice with our sick daughter....

After reading all the excellent reviews, we decided to take our toddler on his first camping trip here. Bottom line: Excellent. Grounds were nice, lots of little activities/equipment to keep a toddler boy going plus it didn't hurt there were a few things that were interesting for adults too. Lots of animals to interact with and feed and the staff...

We are pleased you enjoyed your stay with us - free range children are one of our specialties. We're sorry that the rooster was aggressive - your attribution to his having a grumpy day was generous. We do recommend that guests come prepared for cooler nights even in summer. We'll look forward to your next visit.

Another great weekend at Bestbrook. This time we had a powered site so we particularly enjoyed being able to use our heater at this cooler time of the year! Hoping that one day there may be a permanent toilet/shower block for campers to use as the portaloos really are quite digusting.

We stayed in a powered camp site at Tranquility. We were lucky to be situated at a site that was quite private. This was especially great as there were a number of large groups as it was a long weekend for Ekka holiday in some parts. The included activities are excellent and make the stay special. Camping is great value...

We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay and that in particular your son had a great experience. Our apologies for the power outage when the electrician was working - we should have advised you. Unfortunately, sometimes (particularly in winter) the power is thrown through overload and management doesn't find out about it until a guest advises us - we...
