We ended up not staying due to the non acceptance of my friends Assistance dog. The woman who spoke to him over the phone made us feel so unwelcome when she realised that it is discriminatory to refuse, and after reading the riot act, 1. the dog must be locked up at all times, 2. No noise to be made,...

This park has some very good features but is let down by the state of the facilities. To start on a positive note; most sites are shaded by magnificent European trees, most internal roads are sealed making them popular with kids on scooters and bikes, the park abuts the Kiewa River which is fabulous for swimming and floating from upstream...

I stayed 3 nights in an un-powered tent site whilst doing day walks at Mt Feathertop and on the Bogong High Plains. It was great to come back at the end of the day to a hot shower and laundry. The park is a classic Aussie caravan park, the grounds are under huge mature deciduous trees, the amenities are 1970s...

Tawonga Caravan Park is very clean and tidy. Kiewa North(?) River runs by - I was told it's good for trout. Mt Beauty close by with hilly golf course, gliding club and world-renowned mountain bike paths. Try local beer and meat just across the road.Easy drive to Bright. Yurts available for hire.

Whilst the amenities are dated they are extremely clean. The park is absolutely gorgeous in summer as the many huge deciduous trees are in full leaf and give the whole park a cooling shade. Owners Bill and Nola are very helpful and glad to assist with requests. Wish we could have been there in Autumn when the leaves changed colour....

Beautiful location on the Kiewa River with lovely views to the mountains.Amenities could do with a major upgrade but close to Mount Beauty and over the Tawonga Gap to Brighr make it an ideal base for touring these beautiful valleys.

Throughly enjoyed the peace an serenity of the caravan park. Our hosts Nola and Bill joined us for happy hour which was wonderful. Went to sleep each night to the beautiful river going over stones. A lovely place and we will be back. Thanks Nola and Bill.

A lovely tranquil setting spoilt by far too many large groups booked in who make for too much noise till late. Pack of roaming teenagers at night and big groups with music going till late. Has so much potential but lack of action by owners to quieten down big groups who are probably regulars means this place won't get much...

I've been traveling to this park for 25 or so yrs. I've always had a great time at this park. I returned for the first time in about 5 yrs this year. And after a 2 night stay I will not return. The male owner I think is bill is very rude, I found Nola to be quite friendly. My...

First time camping here. Never going to return. The noise is unacceptable and goes on till well past 11:00pm. One group was asked to quieten down, their response was "I HAVE UNTILL ELEVEN" (yelled). There appears to no respect for other campers who would like to enjoy the area. Our recommendation is "DON'T COME HERE".
