The location is outstanding, opposite one of the best beaches in Australia, and the view superb. The facilities are older and at times need a little tired, but the rooms are clean and spacious....and the water is hot ! ! ! Easy access to the...More
Stayed at the OBH for three nights on a quick holiday from the Gold Coast. Great value for money! The room was large and comfortable, nothing flash but had everything we needed and a brilliant location. The bar has fabulous views, great meals at reasonable...More
Paid the extra $50 for a room with a view and ended up with a top floor room. With the way the building is facing, it probably wasn't worth the extra coin, considering the views from all of the restaurants and walking paths are million...More
First time at OBH and loved the vibe, and the amazing sunset views of Rottnest Island. They have a good selection of beers as well as the usual other options. They have meals but we were just there for drinks. The accommodation is apparently quite...More
Perth is not cheap so finding a hotel near the beach with food outlets nearby and free parking was great. The rooms are basic and dated but clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. The views are not straight onto the beach as the building is...More

If you are in the Perth CBD you can catch a bus to within 100 metre's of the hotel. Go to the Bus Port at Elizabeth Quay which is located down near the new marina on the river. Catch the 102 bus to stop # 26278 which is "Eric St After Broome St. You can then walk just around the corner to the hotel, It's slightly down hill from the bus stop so it will be an easy walk if you are dragging a suitcase plus the OBH pub is on the corner if its hot and you can stop for a coldie.
Google this bus timetable, Bus Timetable 31 20161009.pdf and it will bring up the current bus schedule and look at "From Perth".
Or if the bus isn't your thing, get the train to Eric Street Station and Uber it from there.
