This is about the cottage rooms. Three rooms just off the road. Rooms lack insulation can hear bathroom noises of other units. No place to put luggage. The breakfast was a joke, packaged peaches and some bread. I would look for another place to stay.

Our room, one of the garden rooms, was situated next to the cafe and cellar door, unlike the rest of the architecturally designed villas. Our room was tucked away, facing the vines, with the most gorgeous garden to sit in and a verandah to enjoy our continental breakfast on. The room was well appointed, although the bed a little saggy....

Stayed at Margrain Vineyard Villas while attending a business meeting in their Boardroom. The accommodation needs refreshing, and if I would have been disappointed if I had been travelling for pleasure not work. For example, the sofa in my room was threadbare on the arms! It's a pity, because the rooms are bright, have rural views, and private balconies. Our...

Very nice setting. Good continental breakfast. Be prepared to be disturbed by early morning vineyard tractor etc. did not like te wet room shower, despite trying hard still endd up with very wet floor of wider bathroom. Walkable to town and handy to their own vineyward wine tasting and restaurant. Though summer days, very cold wind and very cold early...

Hi, and thanks for taking the time to post your review. I'm glad you enjoyed the vineyard setting, and apologies about the tractor noise. Unfortunately this is a necessary part of the vineyard, but we do try to avoid this on the weekends. It's great that you enjoyed the complimentary in-room continental breakfast and were able to enjoy the Cellar...

My husband and I stayed here two nights in the garden room, and it was nice. The porch area, with the view of the garden and vineyards was beautiful. Inside the room itself, you could here just about everything your neighbor was doing. It also got fairly hot inside the room, and we didn't see any AC available. It's a...

Hello, thanks for your review of our Gatehouse Garden Room. I'm glad you enjoyed the verandah with its garden and vineyard outlook. It is a great spot to sit with the French Doors open, enjoying a glass of Martinborough wine! Thank you for your feedback, and hopefully we'll see you here again in the future. Cheers, Michelle

Good value for money we have spent the last three Christmas holidays here, central to martinborough wine country so if you like your vino this is a great place to come. Rooms are small but come with everything you need, the bed this time however made us consider sleeping on the floor.

Stayed here for a weekend to attend a wedding in the area. We booked two units for 2 adults and 3 children, and got the ones right at the end (near the road). They were beautifully furnished and we got breakfast provided. They had a lovely indoor outdoor flow when the weather was fine and we enjoyed our stay immensely....
