On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being "brilliant!"), Greg and Lori get a 15. We've stayed at many Bed & Breakfast Inns, and the Inn at Tabbs Creek is by far the most relaxing, has the best food, and is the most accommodating we've ever experienced. The garden is not only beautiful, it has a pretty incredible story...

Hello to you both, and thanks so much for the kind words! You are absolutely right in that this is totally a labor of love for us, and always means a lot of "sweat equity", but it is so very rewarding, especially when we get to connect with folks like yourselves. We appreciate all the positive input and ideas, and...

For those who haven't been there, historic, water-surrounded, rather remote and fully authentic Mathews County is a treasure! Surrounded by the Chesapeake Bay, Mobjack Bay, the Piankatank, East, and North Rivers, and including endless inlets, it has (I believe) the most shoreline of any county in the country. Off the path of any major roads, it is truly pristine and...

Thank You so very much for your kind review as it means the world to us to have feedback...glad that it is positive, but we welcome all suggestions as well. This is a lovely bed and breakfast. Greg and Lori are gracious and flexible hosts and have helpful tips about what to do, where to eat, etc. The inn is well maintained, with nice common amenities. In good weather, relaxing by the pool can't be beat. Breakfast was wonderful.

The Inn at Tabbs Creek is the perfect place to unwind, relax by the pool and enjoy an amazing breakfast. The accommodations (both the common areas and the rooms) are so comfortable, quiet and well maintained. The innkeepers, Lori and Greg could not have been more accommodating to our needs, whether it be dietary, setting up activities on the Bay,...

The location of the Inn is idyllic. Tucked in a small inlet off the Chesapeake Bay, it is quiet, peaceful and beautiful. Last time we arrived in winter, and loved the coziness and quiet. This time we visited in early June. Glorious weather -- beautiful sunsets -- plenty of folks around to chat with but plenty of space for privacy too. Fabulous food at breakfast and beautiful room. No pretension. We'd come back here over and over!
