We really enjoyed our stay! We appreciated being told about the AC not working, and the room upgrade was wonderful. The breakfast prepared by Mabel was not to be compared. Overall we were made welcomed and comfortable!

My husband and I spent a very rainy weekend at this B&B. It was great from start to finish. Alva, the owner of the inn, could not be more hospitable or friendly. She is also a fantastic cook and her joy of cooking shows in each day's breakfast. Breakfast every day was wonderful (especially her biscuits and baked apples) and...

My husband and I joined another couple who had talked us into taking a Tangier Island cruise selecting Ma Margaret's B&B for our two night stay. Off the beaten path, it was the perfect location for our Reedville, VA departure. But the best parts were the comfortable accommodations and the two best breakfasts we've ever enjoyed at any B&B! Our...

We enjoyed the Lewis Room Junior Suite. Beds were comfortable and the entire facility was very clean. Alva was a wonderful host and prepared some delicious and generous breakfasts. Nobody goes hungry at Ma Margaret. We will purchased the coupon for Tommy's restaurant and had a fabulous meal of soft shell crabs and fried shrimp. We will definitely come back....

The breakfast alone is almost worth the price of admission. The area is very low key and not the Disney version some historic Virginia towns have become. Do not miss driving through the country side on well paved back roads with lovely vistas to one of the 3 nearby nature preserves.

The Jackson Suite is absolutely beautiful. The home has original furniture from the owner's grand parents. It's modern with a quaint feeling. The breakfast is out of this world. Staff is friendly. If you are looking for a quiet place to steal away to, this is it!

It was in deed delightful and the ladies who greeted us and Mabel, who prepared breakfast, were very kind and enjoyable. You need to check and before and after photos of this B&B. The whole project was obviously done with some creative excellence.

A pristine B&B with old family aura and history. Lovely and beautifully restored original rooms are your living and dining areas. Sleeping rooms are newer and very comfortably set. I have never been treated more graciously than the staff who attended my every need.
