We thoroughly enjoyed our Thanksgiving stay in the Garbo Room this past week. Bring your appetite because Wendy serves three-course breakfasts and wonderful hot, hot coffee. The weather was mild, so I was able to do some work on my laptop on the sunny, roomy porch, all with Teddy the assistant innkeeper standing watch. I also walked the neighborhood in...

Stayed two nights while in Roanoke for work. The house is beautifully decorated, rooms are spacious, bed is comfortable. Each of the three rooms is assigned a bathroom you have to go down the hall to get to. Bathrobes are supplied. My only disappointment is that I didn't spend enough time there to enjoy the library, living room, or front...

We stayed at the Rose Hill B&B during the weekend of October 28-29 2016. The house was beautifully decorated and spic and span. The breakfast was sumptuous.Wendy (proprietor) was just terrific---so friendly and accommodating. (AND we got a free poem!) We could not have asked for a more perfect B&B right in the heart of downtown Roanoke---overlooking the park, while...

We loved our visit to Rose Hill. A beautiful home set opposite a parkland made for a nice quiet stay. Our room was very clean and beautifully presented with all amenities. Breakfasts were scrumptious and tea and cookies one afternoon after a busy day just "hit the spot". The best part of the B and B experience is chatting with...

Wendy is absolutely fabulous and has a flair for making amazing culinary delights with special diet considerations (gluten, lactose, dairy, vegan, etc). The Greta room is gorgeous, as is the entire house. If I ever return to Roanoke, this will be where I stay.

This was a great jewel in Roanoke. Our first time to Virginia and Wendy made it great. She is a great hostess and cooks wonderful breakfasts. She was so sweet and understanding when we got stuck for 3 hours on the interstate so we were very late for check in. I would recommend Rose Hill to anyone.

I cannot say enough about this place. Wendy made you feel so special. My brother visited here last year and he was super pleased. (and that is hard to do) I read a review that mentioned the breakfasts.........oh yes, they were fantastic! We stayed in the Garbo and I felt as if I had gone back in time. Drinking coffee,...

This was such a wonderful experience! We were greeted with love - even though we got in late due to travel problems. The rooms all have wonderful, unique decorations and feelings and the house is alive with wonderful artistic touches. The breakfast far exceeded any that we have experienced and was served like an old fashion high tea. This is...

This was an incredible find. The rooms are all fabulous - immaculately clean and well-presented - and lovely Wendy allowed us access to most of her house. There was iced water and homemade cookies to greet us in our room, as well as more goodies in the kitchen (all delicious). We had a great night's sleep, and an amazing breakfast....

If I could give 10 stars I surely would as the Rose hill is that good! We stayed at Rose Hill for two nights. We were booked in the Peacock room and it was absolutely beautiful. The house, built in the 1900s has been very lovingly brought back to her days of glory by B&B owner/inn keeper extraordinaire - Wendy...
