Never could I imagine such comfort and warmth! This was our first time trying a bed and breakfast, and this set the bar extremely high. Mark and Paige are like long lost family members. They are really sharing their gifts. I wanted to get away like we usually do for my birthday, and due to the pandemic there was no way we wanted to get on a plane. I chose this place based on the reviews, specifically wanted a pool and the bonus of being on the water. The rooms are even more beautiful in person and the home is well appointed. Mark and Paige are so gracious and immediately make you feel at home. We were greeted with an offer of wine and snacks/appetizers which were delicious. Breakfasts were amazing like other reviewers stated. The kids enjoyed their space in the two bedroom unit, the pool and the fishing dock. I have two 14 year olds who are not easily impressed and they fell in love with this gem in Seaford and are asking to return. That is saying something! We all cannot wait to find the right weekend to enjoy Bay Tree Manor again.

Our weekend at Bay Tree Manor was fantastic. The bed and breakfast is in a great location for relaxation and activity in Eastern Virginia. We were able to relax by the pool and the dock, and also used their kayaks to venture out to a little beach close by. My husband fished every day and was able to catch a variety of fish - trout, drum, croaker, etc. He was in heaven. Paige and Mark provide excellent customer service, from allowing us to have an early check in, providing a variety of snacks (including cupcakes), alcoholic beverages, and also late check out. They serve a hearty and yummy breakfast (enough for leftovers for lunch!). The best breakfast we have ever eaten at a bed and breakfast (eggs Benedict, omelette tortilla, crepes)!
The place is very quiet and peaceful and we slept really well.
Definitely book with them directly for the best prices.
We enjoyed our stay and already considered when to visit again!

My husband and I took a weekend trip and I am extremely picky when it comes to hotels. I really concentrate on reviews. He found Bay Tree Manor and it exceeded expectations! This was our first stay at a bed and breakfast and we did not know what to expect. Breakfast was made for us in the morning and this was incredible wholesome meals! They have complimentary kayaks and we took them out to a private island. We had the opportunity to meet with other guests in passing but we had a lot of privacy. The rooms were incredible and clean. They keep up with the space very well, we felt we were staying with family. Mark & Paige were warm, welcoming, and so kind. When you enter the B&B they ask if you want a drink, they prepare all you want and provide a relaxing environment. We will definitely be back!!!

This was our second visit to this beautiful getaway! We were celebrating our daughter’s 15th birthday! The hospitality is nothing like we have experienced before. We felt like family the minute we stepped through the door! We were greeted by Mark and Paige and was offered wine or beer, a cheese plate, and then enjoyed fun conversation. The property is picturesque. We enjoyed the built in pool, walks on the pier, then sitting in the big white chairs on the pier. Kayaks are available for kayaking, but we didn’t get a chance to take advantage, so we will do so next time. We stayed in our favorite room, the Roosevelt suite. The suite has a room with in a room, so our daughter enjoyed her own bedroom! Breakfast is impeccable! Mark’s eggs benedict and Paige’s crepes are melt in your mouth creations! Mark and Paige surprised our daughter with three cupcakes with candles for us to share, and apple cider! They thought of everything! We can’t wait to come back! Thank you Mark and Paige!

My sister and I enjoyed two days at this lovely place. Beautiful rooms, wonderful hosts and amazing food! Paige and Mark made us feel very welcomed and we felt pampered being the only guests at the time. The pool was an added bonus for me on a hot day! Hope to make it back there one day. Definitely recommend it if you’re in the area!

Wow! What a wonderful little family getaway! Mark and Paige have created an unforgettable experience with their B&B! With gorgeous creek views, relaxing pool, comfortable and large rooms and to die for breakfast; we felt so incredibly welcome in their home!
My husband and I knew our family needed a break from being stuck in our house for months due to covid and decided to take a chance on a B&B with a 10 & 7 year old. We hit the jackpot. The pool was great and we kayaked everyday around the large Bay Tree Creek. Mark and Paige were so amazing to our kids, even making sure they had their favorite foods for breakfast!!
Not only did we love the accommodations but we truly enjoyed the company of Mark and Paige. Getting to chat with them was one of our highlights as well. We can’t wait to visit again soon!

Our hosts, Mark and Paige, made us feel like members of the family the minute we passed through the door. Breakfasts were filling and so delicious. Breakfasts were served at dining tables with a fabulous view of the pool and Bay Tree Creek. Later, we went kayaking on the creek around to a sandy beach nearby. In the afternoon we relaxed by the pool, enjoyed a glass of wine or beer with snacks while conversing with our hosts and other guests. Our room was beautifully appointed and made for a comfortable night's sleep. It was the perfect "get away from it all and relax' weekend.

Beautiful tranquil location and grounds. Accommodations were relaxing, very comfortable, and immaculate. The attractively decorated bedroom had plenty of storage, an extremely comfortable bed, an airy bathroom with nice shower and soaking tub, and a goregous water view. Paige and Mark are so personable and hospitable. They make you feel right at home and anticipate everything you could need or want with great attention to detail. After our long journey, we were warmly welcomed and provided with a charcuterie board, beer and wine, various beverages and snacks. The breakfasts were personally cooked and plated for each guest and included an amazing desert. The food and presentation was awesome! We had such a fabulous stay! We can't wait to come back!

The Bay Tree Manor Bed and Breakfast is a lovely place to stay! Our hosts were kind and generous. Our morning meals were exceptional!!! The area is full of nature with many options for outside activities. The bed and breakfast is also close to historical sites as well as city life! We would recommend staying in the Bay Tree Manor Bed and Breakfast to enjoy a relaxing time with spectacular meals and fabulous hosts!

We just got back from a wonderful stay at the Bay Tree Manor. Honestly 5 stars are not enough. Mark and Paige are amazing hosts. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The breakfasts are out of this world. Mark and Paige and their B&B is the best we have stayed in the last 18 years of traveling. This was our first visit there and we can say we feel like we are friends because they are friendly, accommodating and make you feel like that way. Thanks for a wonderful trip. V&C
