We are actually in Ivy Cottage for our 25th anniversary as I write this review, and it is wonderful. When we first got here, it immediately felt like a home away from home. The cottage is cozy and decorated with the perfect touch of class. The views are great as well. As we sit here in front of the fireplace,...

We were celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary and we wanted to visit the blue ridge pkwy during the fall. We loved our pond view cottage. It was secluded with wonderful views of the pond and friendly cows. We enjoyed the hot tub on the chilly nights and loved our jacuzzi bath tub! The king size bed and bedding was so...

This was our 3rd visit over the past year - we have now stayed at all 3 cabins, this time the Sunset. Each cabin has it's own unique character. Our stay at the Sunset didn't disappoint. We were looking for some much needed R&R and the Sunset delivered. Nestled back in the woods with a spectacular view of the mountains...

We stayed in the Ivy Cottage and felt like we were entering a fairy tale house with all the modern conveniences. It is secluded with a beautiful view of the valley. We were met by the cows on the driveway who were checking us out to see if we were "proper guests"! The cottage was immaculate and very welcoming. We...

Ray and Melissa are a class act. The Pondview cabin was ready for us, we let ourselves in, everything was perfect. The room was clean, the area is beautiful as we knew from our trip to the sister cabin (Ivy Cottage) and we even saw 2 deer on our first night there. Absolutely the best and quietest Anniversary vacation ever....

This was our fifth stay at Alpine Hideaway. It had been seven years and an owner change since we had last stayed. We are happy to say that it is still as wonderful as ever for a getaway from everything. The cabins are appointed with everything you need for your stay. We enjoyed the hot tub on the deck that...

My fiance and I just returned back from our honeymoon stay at the Alpine Hideaway's Sunset cabin. It was absolutely spectacular. Cabin was set back in the woods up the side of a mountain overlooking a valley and a beautiful mountain peak across. Cows lazily grazed in the fields below the cabin, and at night there was no light pollution...
