Little did we know there existed such a delightful haven for our stressed out souls! The Pondview cottage - a well decorated and comfortably appointed space was welcoming and provided much needed relaxation with the ability to enjoy modern benefits of flatscreen tv, internet access, and a private hot tub, if desired. We happily ate the Godiva chocolates placed on... More

Last year my boyfriend brought me to Alpine for a long weekend. I was skeptical. I cannot tell you how incredibly beautiful, relaxing, clean and well kept the property is. We stayed in the Sunset cottage and its beautiful. The view of the mountains at sunset is spectacular. so this year for his birthday, I bought him a vacation back... More

We celebrated our 2 year anniversary with Alpine Hideaways. At first I wasn't sure about what I was getting into. Sure you see pictures and read reviews, but until you actually step into the place and start your visit you simply won't know what the place is like. To get to the point, it's fantastic. You will feel relaxed and... More

We stayed in the Ivy cottage and the web pictures don't adequately convey how beautiful this cabin is. I could live in it year 'round. It's warm and cozy, yet spacious, and secluded with a beautiful view from the front pourch. The private hot tub on a deck surrounded by woods was the best treat after a day of golf... More

The sunset cabin was the spot for our honeymoon and it was absolutely amazing. The view and comfort of the cabin was better than either of us imagined. To take it a step further, Ray and Melissa, are some of the nicest people I have ever meet. When the snow started coming, and we literally got stuck climbing the little... More

All the big details are expertly taken care of, all the small details perfect your stay. We have stayed in many cabins throughout Virginia, Sunset is my favorite to date - we will be back. Thank you Ray and Melissa, you have something amazing here, can't wait to see the Manor when it is done.

Looking for a great getaway for couples -- this is a great place located in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Each isolated cabin allows you to get away from the hustle & bustle of everyday life--where you can sit back, relax and focus on doing nothing. Yes, do nothing at all, if you like. Stoke up the fireplace, read a... More
