My husband and I had reservations at the Inn at Little Washington and we chose the Middleton Inn to stay overnight based on the reviews on Trip Advisor. We chose the cottage as it has privacy and it looked like fun. We arrived and were greeted by Mary Ann (the owner) and Jeannie. They brought us a bottle of champagne...

Went for a pre dinner run into town and back and then spent time on the front porch watching an amazing sunset while talking to the myriad cats. Inside is beautiful...

Highly recommended if you are eating at the Inn at Little Washington (a three-minute walk) or...

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Middleton Inn. Mary Ann treated us like royalty and the breakfast was delicious. We recommend staying in the cottage, although the rooms in the main house looked very nice, too.
