My boyfriend and I stayed at the Iris Inn for my birthday. We had the Hawk's Nest Suite. When we arrived, we were immediately greeted by the assistant innkeeper, Glen. He was extremely nice and helpful. He showed us our room and gave us lots of suggestions for places to visit and places to eat. He told us about the...

We stayed for just one night in one of the Cabins (#3). It was definitely a treat. If I hadn’t know they were built 2 years ago, I would have thought we were the first ones to stay – it was so clean!! It looks exactly like the pictures on the website. Heidi and Dave are so kind and friendly....

We couldn't have been more happy with our stay at the Iris Inn. We were traveling to the area and had booked another B&B. After a friend STRONGLY recommended we stay at Iris Inn, we canceled our other reservation and booked at the Inn. The website with pictures of the stunning views overlooking the Shenandoah Valley was enough to convince...

This B&B is the epitome of charming and quaint! The rooms are very clean and cozy (we booked one that was pet-friendly so that we could bring along our puppy)! Dave and Heidi, the owners of the Iris Inn, are very friendly and extremely helpful with tips on restaurants to check-out in the surrounding area.

This was our first visit to the Iris Inn and with a little hesitation I booked a two night stay in one of the cabins. From our initial impression walking into the main building and every aspect in between this was the nicest B&B we have ever been to. The owners are very helpful and the staff was great. Breakfast...

You must stay in the cabins if you are looking for a couples retreat! They are modern with many amenities and the views are just wonderful even at night! Hot tub on your private deck, nice wine tasting at main house and delicious breakfast! A great staff provided wonderful suggestions for dinner and activities.

This was mine and my husband's first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast and we couldn't have chosen a better place for our first stay! Actually, I don't think we'll be going anywhere else! We stayed in one of the couple's cabin which was comfy, private, modern and romantic. The way it is setup is absolutely perfect. The back...

Highly recommend this for a couples retreat. We stayed in Couples Cabin #1 and did a sip and spa package, that included an in room couples massage. I can't wait to go back in the Fall when the leaves are on the trees :) Although we had great weather for March. The Inn is ideally situated close to Staunton and...

A++ B & B. So relaxing. Wonderful reviews got us there and we will definitely return!! We stayed in the Main Inn but hope to enjoy the views and solitude of a cabin next time. Nice touch was complimentary wine tasting late afternoon. Breakfast was scrumptious and especially liked sitting alone as a couple not at a large table with...

Stayed at the Iris Inn over Valentine's Day weekend 2014. Big snowstorm during the week prior, but the (steep) road and driveway to the inn was perfectly clear Friday afternoon. Beautiful facility (we stayed in the Duck Room in the main building), great location and views, got there just in time to watch the sunset. Relaxing glass of wine with...
