We stayed for several days as the Inn is located within easy trips to many sites both historical and beautiful nature areas. Excellent food and very welcoming. The cabin was very well designed. A great atmosphere.

My husband and I recently celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary on October 8th and vow renewal ceremony at the Iris Inn. This bed and breakfast was highly recommended by a co worker that also recently stayed there. Everything was perfect. There are several absolutely beautiful rooms in the main building but we chose to stay in one of the new...

Wonderful inn. Stayed here for a birthday trip. Rooms are so clean, and it is so quiet and pleasant here. Dave and Heidi are wonderful and pleasant hosts. Would definitely recommend this ad a place to stay near Charlottesville/Afton Mountain.

Location is wonderful rooms too with a delicious breakfast. Dave and Heidi are warm welcoming and very helpful with excellent recommendations for dinner. We stayed in the wildflower room which was spotless, spacious and the doors opened to the deck where you can take in the view or watch the sunset from the swing seat. It must be a wonderful...

Stayed in one of the cottages and was blown away by the amenities, design, and comfort of the cottage. I could live in one of these cottages! Very modern, new, with a terrific screened porch and hot tub! My wife and I wanted to get away for a short trip and this was perfect. There are plenty of places to...

My husband and I recently spent 3 nights in one of the cabins. I must say, the accomodations were perfect! We loved our little cabin -- perfect view, very clean, has everything you need. I almost felt guilty for not spending more time inside! But, we were there to hike and tour the vineyards. Lots to do in the area...

My hubby and I just stayed here for an extended weekend getaway. It was an easy and scenic drive from where we lived in southern md. Upon arrival we were impressed with not only the beautiful location but also the clean and well kept property. We called ahead to notify them of my many allergies, they accommodated and I had...

The Iris was a great anniversary getaway weekend. The breakfast was excellent! We truly enjoyed the views and wonderful porch to relax on. We were very impressed with the cleanliness of the entire facility. The location was excellent for sampling many of the local wineries. Too bad we couldn't get any good fog reports as our planned hikes kept getting...

All the reviews are true! We planned our anniversary weekend through TripAdvisor, and glad we did. Our check-in with Heidi was easy and pleasurable. Our room was fantastic, and far larger than we expected. Everything was clean, fresh and modern right down to the flat-screen -- though we didn't even turn it on as the sunset views couldn't be beat....

My fiance and I stayed in one of the cabins for our "mini-moon" this week. It was a very relaxing stay! The cabins are very luxurious, with amenities including a "rainforest" shower, private jacuzzi and full washer/dryer (perfect after a day of hiking!) Breakfast was delicious, and available from 8-9:30 each day. The inn owners, Heidi and Dave, are charming...
