A fun birthday girls weekend trip. 1-Breakfast was ok limited options but the wonderful women explained that at check in so we were not to upset. 2-The pool was a bit chilly but not being able to swim for a year... it was perfect. I think they used a lot of chlorine but I’m not mad at that. 3- We had to remember to stop pass the front desk on our way in/out to get items needed due to the limited housekeeping Very enjoyable and relaxing stay
We were doing an overnight in Williamsburg. We chose this Hampton Inn based on TA reviews. We checked in on our mobile device and had a digital key so we went right to our room. Opened the door and saw the two queen beds instead of the king that we requested. We went to the front desk and Teresa apologized and quickly switched our room and gave us some snacks for our inconvenience. Room was very clean. We requested a Lyft to take us down to the historical district and one arrived in 3 minutes. We had dinner and drinks and a couple hours later went to request a return ride. We tried for over an hour and there were none available, also tried taxis and again none available. It was 9:30 PM and everything was closing down. My husband decided to call the hotel and ask for help. Teresa immediately said “I will find someone to pick you up.” 10 minutes later we were on our way back to the hotel. She was a lifesaver! This was definitely above and beyond but it was obvious from even my first encounter with her that her job was to make the guests happy. She told me “please let me know if you need anything or anything isn’t right. I can fix most things but I have to know.” Thank you, Teresa!…
Guest are responsible for taking out the room trash and requesting towels, shampoo, soap, etc. Maid service is not available during a guest stay. Bathroom plug kept tripping. Pool area extremely, warm
This Hampton Inn is in a great location, walking distance to many restaurants and attractions. The staff at this hotel are wonderful, very accommodating and always willing to help with anything. Rooms are always clean and sealed between visits. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Williamsburg.
This hotel was fine; nothing horrible but nothing great. I will mention that the walls are paper thin, so if you’re a light sleeper like I am, you may be better off booking elsewhere. The location is great-right in the middle of tons of touristy activities
