The room is in the first flow and is very dark and humid. But I'm not gonna blame this on the hotel itself since the weather is humid and it was spring time. what we feel unpleasant is that WIFI signal is so bad, almost no signal, and don't know why no phone connections inside the room... Called 3 times...

The misses and I decided to take a weekend to visit old town Williamsburg last minute. We got there and this was the only hotel within walking distance that we could find. It was convenient to be able to walk down to the shops and restaurants. The bed was awful hard (for me). The sheets were clean, as was the...

The inn is a basic, tourist class hotel--clean, comfortable rooms without many extras. Helpful front desk staff with maps and information available about events in the historic district. Breakfast basic, but included. A real bonus that it is just a short walk to the historic district! No worries about where to leave the car. Good stay.

Overall I could not be more satisfied. Clean room, helpful people, good breakfast and to top it all great price. Centrally located close to William & Mary College and Colonial Williamsburg, Good parking and close to a myriad of restaurants.

We wanted to be close to Colonial Williamsburg for the short time we had to spend there. The Governor's Inn fit the bill perfectly, being only about 0.75 of mile (15 minute walk) from the attraction. The hotel was very clean, our beds (2 Queen size) were comfy, and the staff made us feel very welcome. As a bonus, the...

We came here from Norfolk on our way home to MA. Took our chances while visiting Colonial Williamsburg and this hotel hit the spot. It is a Williamsburg property and very well taken care of. They own several here and this is the low end one. Very clean, very, nice, very reasonable. We had a GREAT continental breakfast which quite...

The hotel is part of the Colonial Williamsburg hotels. It's only a few blocks from Colonial Williamsburg and Merchant's Square. The breakfast could've been a little better but it was included so I'm not complaining. WiFi was hit and miss. I had to reset it way too many times. I would definitely stay there again however.

No frills hotel with all the basics you need - and who really needs a crazy hotel when you are there to explore? The fridge in the room is an awesome perk. The hotel is perfectly walkable to the colonial area and all the attractions. The staff were fabulous and were super nice and helped us with all of our...
