We had to drive to Virginia Beach from here and it took about an hour at 7am but returning we saw traffic backed up for miles before the tunnel. Virginia Beach is a tawdry dump. We had much more fun in nearby Yorktown (see the excellent Battlefield Museum etc) with little beach on an inlet and a great pub...........!!
