We live in northwestern US and seldom get to experience good old fashioned southern service. Well, this place has it. Charming older architecture. First class lobby. Beautifully manicured grounds. Personal check in.

The best ever. Elegant but comfortable. Spent my honeymoon there in 1985..most memorable experience of my life. Loved the history of colonial Williamsburg with people staying in character. A bit expensive but we'll worth it

My family and I spent a perfectly lovely Christmas in Colonial Williamsburg. We stayed in Providence Hall House(PHH), overseen by the Williamsburg Inn staff. PHH is a stunning 18th house, beautifully furnished, with working fireplaces, and surrounded by lovely gardens. The Williamsburg Inn staff are first rate and we felt very much at home! We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. While booking a room at Williamsburg Inn online, we requested a quiet room with a nice view. When we checked in, we were immediately upgraded to essentially a suite overlooking the outside pool area. The room was excellent, being split into living room/kitchen, a separate bedroom and a large bathroom with 2...

From the Spa to The Regency Room the theme was incompetence performed by slovenly, bored and couldn't give a damn staff who no doubt are paid nothing per hour. Who runs this place? The prices are exorbitant and yet the quality of service is terrible. Truly the staff of a McDonalds would far exceed any performance standards of the Williamsburg...

My daughter and I were originally supposed to stay in one of the Colonial Houses. The weekend we went we were snowed out and the staff called to offer us a room in the Inn. The graciously placed us in a fabulous suite and gave us the adjoining room all for the same price! Everyone was so wonderful about everything!...

We have stayed in The Williamsburg Inn's Colonial Houses a number of times. For Christmas we stayed at the Brick House Tavern on the Duke of Glouseter Street in the heart of the historical area. The room was fully furnished a queen size bed and included a refrigerator, coffee-maker, and tv. The only downside is the dated bathroom, but the...

We stayed 12/14-12/17. We rounded the circular drive to the entrance and were met by gentlemen doormen in back coats and top hats, very impressive. We were a little early and our rooms (we were there with our son and daughter-in-law for my birthday) were not quite ready. There was champagne for guests upon arrival and of course coffee, hot...

My student blessed me with this trip. It was amazing to see historical sites, meet the historical actors that portray Jefferson, and walk thru the streets in period. Having dinner in the Inns were amazing. The Inn was beautiful and my memories are unforgettable!!!! Definitely recommending this place, and historical town.

The Williamsburg Inn remains the finest destination resort in the eastern United States. Its grander and elegance are befitting such a charming village as Colonial Williamsburg and is situated in the heart of the Historic District where history literally comes to life. The lobby is alive with visitors who just want to see the magnificence of the Inn. The Inn...
