My wife and I got married five months ago, but decided to wait to go on our honeymoon due to Covid. This trip was a much needed, absolutely relaxing experience. Everyone we met who worked for the resort was kind, knowledgeable, and excited to make our stay one of the most memorable times of our lives; they not only met this goal but exceeded it by a large margin. My wife and I are completely enamored with Colonial Williamsburg, and we can’t wait for our anniversary!

We had a great stay in Williamsburg, the hotel was right in the historical district. We walked to everything. The room was very quiet, we actually never saw any other guest. The room was fantastic and we will stay there again.

Colonial Williamsburg was the perfect place to honeymoon. It was and is an adventure. A trip back in time- a living history. Fast forward 50 years and countless visits to CW. We still love everything about CW...strolling the Duke of Glouster street; learning from various “town folk” how they lived; being swept away by the romance of a carriage ride around the historical area....these are just a few of the things we love about Colonial Williamsburg.

If you are interested in history, Williamsburg should be on your list of places to go. If you want a unique lodging experience, book a room (or suite) in the Colonial Houses. While you will have all of the 21st century amenities, the rooms have 18th century features, like four poster beds, braided rugs, and period nightstands. But the best part of staying in these houses is that you are right on the property, within walking distance of all the buildings in the historic district, Market Square, and William & Mary. There is no search for parking, and if you need a break, you can easily go to your room.
