If you’re looking for safety and a staff that takes Covid precautions seriously: DO NOT STAY HERE. We’ve stayed at this property multiple times over the years and have seen it go downhill. None of the housekeeping staff wears a mask while walking the halls or cleaning the rooms, yet they stick a “sanitized” sticker on the door like it means something. If you bring up this concern to the property manager, you will be met with the party line she has used to other reviewers here that “prices are lower than they’ve ever been.” Shockingly, I don’t want to pay upwards of $150 a night to catch Covid because your staff can’t be bothered to wear a mask on your property. Hilton should be ashamed to have this property and manager in their portfolio. For the “low” price they give, you will be treated to lackluster outdated rooms, a poor excuse for breakfast, a TV that doesn’t work (almost like they’re intentionally scrambling the cable service), the worst coffee you can imagine, and attitudes from the staff you interact with. So do yourself a favor, there are at least 5 other Hilton properties within a few miles radius of this place, all within $20 a night of this place. Having stayed at every one of them over the last 5 years, I can tell you they are worth the extra few dollars. Just don’t stay here.

Dear Mrs. FRIZZELLE, Thank you for staying with us. Thanks for reaching out to us. The housekeeping staff are not interacting with guests. The housekeeping staff are cleaning blocked rooms that are vacant and are allowed to not wear the mask while cleaning they are vaccinated, but when traveling down the hallway they must pull it up. I apologize for the limited breakfast, I know it is a disappointment but due to the pandemic, and the fact the hotels all over the country including Hilton as well as all the other chains have reduced offerings. We serve the limited hot four days a week and the bagged 3 days. The items are a hot item(meat/eggs or omelets), yogurt, 3 cereals, waffles, fruit, bagels, muffins, juices, and milk. I'm sorry that doesn't suffice. We also cannot wait for everything to return to normal. We have reduced rates drastically since the pandemic we have rates that have never been this low but that is to make up for the limited services. I don't understand why that is so hard to comprehend. We don't have full services therefore we don't have normal rates. You had ZERO complaints about your room, hotel, breakfast when we communicated before. Your only concern was with the housekeeping not wearing masks inside rooms that are vacant. You said you did not like my reply and came up with your review above. 1. We were just renovated 2020, 2. We serve the hot breakfast more days than the other properties in Williamsburg 3. We are on the same cable as the other 7 Hilton's here, we don't scramble our cable, smh 4. Everyone here treated you very nicely. That's our job that's what we do. I am only being honest with you when I respond, sorry you are having difficulty understanding. Stayed one night. Excellent rates. Staff was friendly snd hotel was clean. We arrived early to see if they had a room ready and they did so we could relax before going out to Busch Gardens. Only issue i saw with hotel was one elevator had no button for 2nd floor.

When we pulled up it was very nice, but the staff was not so much, except for one women who was always pleasant. we could not get room service, but you can stand in line to get your breakfast. Which I was ok with until I found out that every time I needed something I had to go get it, which for what you pay maybe the hotel should stock the room based on how long you have to stay instead of one roll of TP at a time. The room next to us has kids screaming at 6am and thru out the day for about 4 days until they left. I said something to friend desk and all they told me was we should be fine for a couple days, based on the coded mssg he knew they were leaving, but never I m sorry, anything. In fact it was more like your bothering me get over it. We have been going to WB for 24 years and stayed at many places, and this was nice, but won't go back based on the lack luster attitude. BTW the break was less the desirable, I get the situation in the world, but no excuse for not trying.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review on your recent stay. I am sorry to hear about the screaming kids next to your room. As I tell each guest, please let us know right away and not at the end of your stay so that this situation could have been corrected. We could have provided a new room in your case. Also due to COVID yes many things have changed as for as breakfast and housekeeping services. Breakfast Monday- Wednesday we are providing, grab, and go breakfast at our front desk from 7AM to 10 AM and Thursday- Sunday we are doing a limited hot breakfast. In addition, for housekeeping, we are not providing housekeeping services but any supplies you may need are provided here at the front desk. This is in place for the safety of our or guest and staff. The staff at the hotel was not pleasant or helpful. We had an incidence of two young children in the room next to us who started crying and screaming every evening and every morning at 6:00 AM which lasted for hours and many days. The front desk staff was indifferent and did nothing when we told them about the problem. Our room was decent but not as clean as one would think given the amount of stickers explaining how everything was disinfected. There was no housekeeping service except to pick up trash placed in the hallway. We had to go to the front desk to pick up towels and one roll of toilet paper at a time which I found to be ridiculous. There was a huge lack of work ethic at this hotel. The outside of the hotel was not particularly clean either. My daughter and I have been going to Williamsburg for 24 years. This was our 24th year. Obviously we have stayed in most of the hotels either once or many times and I'm sorry to say this is one we will not be returning to again.

Hello again, We did call the room and let them know of your complaint. Sorry we cannot control babies. The fact that you state we have a "huge lack of work ethic" is offensive. This is our first visit back to Williamsburg. We come every year, but due to COVID we have not traveled the last past year. Happy to see the familiar faces Ashley and Cheri is always helpful as well. Some new things that have changed is the breakfast, we miss the full hot breakfast but due understand with COVID they are taking every safety precaution as possible. Our room as usual was spotless and very clean. Housekeepers are not entering rooms but the staff is providing clean linens and trash removal. In addition, their pool, gym and business is still open which is a plus. We went to a Marriott earlier this year and none of their facilities is open. Everyone was pleasant and helpful and provided us with good hospitality, which is hard to find these days. We definitely will be back in July, with our family vacation to bush gardens. Thank you for all your services and hard work.
