Mrs. Johnson's guest home is a nice change of pace from the chain hotels. You will be greeted warmly by a gracious hostess who has been a resident of Williamsburg since the early 1960s.... your own resident concierge. The bedroom I stayed in was large and comfortable with a spacious and clean private bath. The home is located in a... More

My husband and I attended a wedding on July 4th weekend, we decided to stay at Johnson's house for a week and found out few nice things about this place. Since 1976, Ms. Lee Johnson has welcomed visitors in her guest home with that famous Southern hospitality. Her smile and her genuine interest in you as a person is remarkable,... More

My husband and I have been staying with Mrs. Johnson for about 10 years. We always feel like we're staying at our home away from home! Johnson's Guest House has three rooms, all with private bathrooms. The largest room has a lovely gas fireplace with two comfortable chairs and a comfy bed. In the morning, there is fresh coffee in... Johnson's Guest House was a lovely place to stay. Our room was beautifully furnished and spacious and the house was located close to all the area attractions. Mrs. Johnson is a lovely woman, and I enjoyed having a chance to have coffee with her each morning. There is no internet available at the house. However, this was not a problem... More

First off, Mrs. Johnson is such a sweet hostess. The lovely, colonial home offers several well equipped, clean rooms each with its own bathroom. The furnishings are wonderful, I felt like a princess in the canopied bed. In the morning, she provided us with a cup of freshly brewed coffee. Within 1.5 miles of Colonial Williamsburg and the College of William... More

Had the opportunity to stay in Mrs. Johnson's Guest House in November; she is delightful, a real gem. The house is like "going to your favorite Aunt's home". I can't wait to go to Williamsburg again, and stay with Mrs. Johnson! I would say, "Shhhhhh ~ don't tell anyone about This Charming Guest House experience", but that would be selfish.... More

It was so wonderful to stay in this lovely Williamsburg home. Mrs. Johnson was such a sweet hostess. The room we stayed in was comfortably furnished with a seating area, fire place, and four poster bed. The highlight of our trip was enjoying coffee each morning with Mrs. Johnson. We felt so at home here. It was hard to leave.

Clean, close to Colonial Williamsburg, close to Restaurants! Fantastic experience. So happy we found Mrs. Johnson. We stayed 3 nights. Only $55 a night, plus tax. No breakfast, but no problem. Mrs Johnson made coffee and had juice for us. We had a short chat each morning and helped us decide how we were going to approach each day. She... More
