Great staff, very helpful with attractions to see and things to do. Very flexible about reservations, arrival check-in, and checkout. Seamless process. Would recommend a stay at Fife and Drum to anyone. Plan to return in the future.

We stayed here for 3 days/nights and walked into Williamsburg daily. The breakfast food set out each morning was delicious and homemade. We found the beds comfortable and the owners very kind and willing to help with any questions we had about the area. The room was quiet, which was great as there was an arts and crafts show in...

Our party of 4 adults found the Fife and Drum to be a great place for touring Williamsburg. The accommodations are comfortable and elegant. Billy was a wonderful host; helping us with tickets for touring and lots of information to help us in our planning for touring the colonial village. We had a lovely stay and certainly recommend the Fife...

My family has stayed at this well-located inn twice while on college visits. This B&B is conveniently located in Merchant Square, a cheerful, upscale shopping and dining hub next to Colonial Williamsburg. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and well-furnished in colonial decor. The beds were supremely comfortable, my daughter even claiming it the best bed she had ever slept...

This was our second stay at the Fife and Drum and once again we were not disappointed. The beds and showers are great and the location in Merchant's Square makes this the best place to stay in Williamsburg.

Billy was extremely friendly and did a great job providing advice of what to do in Colonial Williamsburg. The Inn was very clean, and the decor was really nice. We had a great stay here! Location was awesome - just a very short walk to the shops and sites.

The location of the 'Fife & Drum Inn' is so convenient, right in Colonial Williamsburg & the accomodation is very tasteful, comfortable and clean. Billy's efforts to help us make the most of our visit were outstanding & his advice most helpful. All food offered was beautiful -perhaps a wider range of breads at breakfast would have been good, but...

Located within steps of the College of William and Mary, and at the edge of Colonial Williamsburg, you can't beat this bed and breakfast for location. Rooms are well sized but still cozy; and decorated with antiques without being fussy. The hot breakfast buffet is varied, tasty and filling. (But, late sleepers beware, it's only available till 9am.) The owners...

Breakfast was delicious. The free cookies hit the spot every afternoon. The staff was really friendly and they let us check in early. The only thing that could have made our stay better was to have better coffee in the afternoon. But then again, Aromas was right down the stairs so the coffee situation really didn't feel like a set...
