I loved our stay here! It is quaint and charming...and so friendly. The decor is pure Williamsburg and you can learn a lot just by examining the framed pieces and artwork in your suite. The location is PERFECT for walking anywhere in Williamsburg. Also, I love that there is a great coffee shop next door. Breakfast was delicious and the...

My girlfriend and I spent a weekend here for a quick vacation getaway. The rooms were perfect and comfortable, and the service was very pleasing. The location of the F/Drum is outstanding. Ground zero to everything you could possible want. No driving needed whatsoever which was a nice touch after a tavern or three. When we go back to W-Burg...

My son and I were in Williamsburg to tour the College of William & Mary, and this was the perfect place for us to stay! We stayed in the Restoration Suite, an ideal room for us because it really was two rooms with a pocket door in between. The inn is within easy walking distance of the college and the...

My family stayed in the Drummer's Cottage, which is a small building located near the hotel. It was the perfect amount of space, privacy, and charm for our family of five. The location is amazing--just steps from anything we wanted to do in Colonial Williamsburg. The cottage is quaintly decorated, and the children loved the built-in bunk beds. The bedroom...

While in Williamsburg for business I had the good fortune to be a guest at Fife & Drum Inn. This is a gem of a B&B, located in the center of Colonial Williamsburg. It is wonderful proximity to restaurants, shops and historic sites (also W&M College is across the street). My room was "The Conservancy" and was so lovely, and...

We stayed here for 3 nights in Colonial Williamsburg. The room was adequate but there was no-one there when we arrived, just an envelope posted on the door. This was really how it followed from there on. There is no-one on site , only at breakfast and although friendly there seemed a little something lacking in our overall experience. The...

Glad to hear you enjoyed the location, room, and our guidance on how to make the best of your visit to the area. Very, very, sorry you felt neglected. We are almost always at the Inn desk from 7AM-5PM. If we are not on site we are never more than a few minutes away and we try to make sure...

We stayed in the cottage on Tuesday night and it was quaint and period perfect for the area. It also had very modern updates in the bath and surrounding area that made it feel like a boutique hotel. We will definitely stay here again when in the area! The location of the cottage was perfect for shopping, dining or simply...

My wife and I spent the weekend in Williamsburg and got lucky to find a room in this gem. We stayed in the Jamestown room, which was cozy, but plenty big enough to get comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and well appointed. The breakfast(s) were perfect...filling, but not gut busting. We will definitely stay there again.

The Fife and Drum Inn at the western end of Colonial Williamsburg is a clean, well maintained facility with a courteous host (Billy) and efficient staff. We stayed in the William & Mary room. The queen bed was comfortable and the bathroom large with a walk in shower. No bathtub, and the sink is not in the bathroom. If these...

We had a hard time finding the Fife & Drum Inn and had to drive around the block several times. The sign is very small and it's over a quant little eatery. The Inn is at the top of a long flight of stairs so if you have trouble climbing stairs, this place is not for you. But stairs aside,...
