Although we live in Bellingham, we occasionally stay at the Fairhaven Village Inn to celebrate a special date. We celebrated a birthday recently there and as usual they exceeded our expectations. Love the new personal care products, the super soft sheets and towels, the view and so excited about the new cocktail bar soon to open. Staff is exceptional! Wouldn't... More

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 8 August 2016

Great location for hanging out in Fairhaven!! The staff were all very nice and took time to visit and answer questions. The room was immaculate, which is always important. We had a room with a view of the bay area, although the buildings seem like nothing to add to the view, we had the luck of being able to watch... More

This is a quiet restful place to come to after long drive on I-5. Large comfortable rooms with working gas fireplaces. Very comfortable room, comfortable bed, too, but not hard enough for me--but that is my preference. Easy-going and helpful staff. Breakfast selection is fair. Fortunately there are many very good cafes, etc., within walking distance. Wonderful library/reading room--a great... More

We stayed here 3 nights recently and were so impressed with the spacious rooms, comfortable beds, gas fireplace, outside deck, tasty breakfast and incredibly clean and tidy to a fault. The location was near the charming shops and bike path as well. We will stay here again!

This small hotel is not old, but the décor is in keeping with the Fairhaven historic district. Our room was spacious, with a view of the water (though over some warehouses) and a couple of comfy chairs by the gas fireplace. Breakfast options in the cozy "morning room" included waffles. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is... More

This was a great place to stay in Bellingham we enjoyed the rooms with a nice cozy fireplace and great breakfast as well! Wish we could have stayed longer! Service at front desk was also really great! Don't miss out on this place and skip the bigger style hotels there might be around town! You won't be sorry!

The best thing about this hotel is that it is in Fairhaven. It is a delightful area, so much better than the rest of sprawling Bellingham. The hotel has large and bright rooms, but overpriced. The rooms facing the harbor do not have a beautiful view, but an industrial one, so the worst part are the trains. My husband complained... More

Thank you for your review, 123Avila. I’m glad to hear you enjoyed Fairhaven’s unique charm, it really is the perfect base for any stay in Bellingham! I understand that the trains, a fact of life in the Pacific Northwest, can be noisy and I am sorry for the disturbance you experienced. I sincerely hope you will return and reserve a... More

Perfect location in the center of Fairhaven - we walked to shops and dinner, and even discovered a nice craft brewery nearby. The biggest surprise was how comfortable the bed was. They picked the softest sheets and linens, and the bed and pillows were perfect. Add to that a helpful staff and fresh waffles for breakfast.

We loved staying here! The room was absolutely enormous and the bed was heaven. When we arrived they already had a cot (a pack-n-play/port a cot) set up in our room for our baby. The hotel is very well maintained, quiet, and in the very charming town of Fairhaven. Breakfast was fine - bagels, cereal, oats, fruit, yogurt, coffee, etc.
