Comfortable, safe and clean room. This is an older property but the owners are trying to keep it up. Fridge and microwave in room, great Wi-Fi and pet friendly. Checked all my boxes. Freeway close location as well. The complementary breakfast was a nice touch.

Just as someone else had mentioned in a previous review, this is a “no frills” kind of hotel. There’s a mini fridge, complimentary coffee provided, coffee maker and microwave as standard amenities. The Continental breakfast is not offered at this time, due to Covid restrictions.

Woods Coffee is just right across the hotel; they have good coffee, teas and small eats as an option. I went there for breakfast instead. It’s a short Lyft drive or regular drive to downtown Bellingham, which is charming. There’s cute shops, restaurants and sites to walk and explore. Right next to Bellingham bay and the boardwalk, which also has another Woods Coffee. You’re close to so many picturesque & novelty places. The hotel is positioned well for that.

A a solo female traveler, I felt safe in this hotel area. This is a good location for solo travelers.

This is the 3rd time I have stayed here without complaint, but this time I did. It was minor and resolved within minutes. The front desk staff is very helpful! I really appreciated the flexibility. This place is going through some renovation and every time I come up there is something better. It is a no-frills place near downtown Bellingham - I walk or take Lyft so it is super convenient.

Over many many years we've stayed at this reasonably priced place while visiting family. While we've noticed the need for updating the last few visits, this visit we were greeted with a room with no wastrbaskets and dirty towels left in the bathroom from a previous occupant. We called the desk and were asked if we would like to change rooms. We had already unpacked and were due at a family dinner. The wastebasket was delivered and I left the dirty towels in the hall. At checkout I mentioned our concerns and was asked if we were offered a room change. I said yes, and she replied, "Well, there's nothing we can do about it." I told her I was not looking for anything other than that they be aware that there were issues to be addressed. She said the manager would be made aware. After 20+ years, we'll be finding a new place to stay.

first off, the landscaping outside featured dying shrubs and plants. Our room overlooked an open garbage can and a big big container dumpster.

wallpaper and paint in bathroom peeling off. We stayed two nights and the room was not vacuumed or bed covers changed after an accidental chocolate spill. If it came down to sleeping on I-5 or this hotel, I would choose this hotel.

Hi Deigo, we are sorry to hear that you had an unpleasant experience with us, however would like to inform you that the reason there was a container next to the dumpster was that we are currently undergoing a remodel, and everything you complained about is currently being fixed. :) - GHI

We were pleased with our stay in both rooms 316 and 317. 316 had a big king bed, while 317 had 2 queens. We missed breakfast all 3 days (only served until 9am) but had a comfortable stay. We walked 15 min to enjoy the breweries and restaurants downtown and took an inexpensive Uber to the other sights we wanted to see. It was lovely having Woods coffee adjacent. We will return!

Covid is not a surprise. It is not new. It is no longer an excuse to lie to customers. If you advertise something that you don't provide and haven't provided for months, that's straight up false advertising. It's fine if you can't provide it, but it's long past time to stop advertising it.

The room had a number of things wrong and the front desk staff was too busy on their phones to help. I was told by the 2 front desk staff that I wouldn't be charged for the next night (second night) if I check out in the morning and didn't stay. I was charged. I worked with the manager, Booking .com (also said I woun't be charged), and the RL Corp. No help from anyone now that I was charged. Horrible customer service.

The hotel is run down, smelly, noisy & has the lumpiest beds & pillows I have ever experienced in a hotel stay! We came from out of town for a 5K & thought we’d stay closer to the race course. Our dog was on edge, panting & barking most of the night due to the noises not only in the room but around the hotel. There was a strange humming noise in our room all night that drowned out our white noise machine that we brought.
After the race we went to another hotel where more family was staying for the race. I told the front desk there that I wish I had stayed with them instead. When I told them I stayed at the Guesthouse Inn, they said “Oh, gross!” That sums it up! I would not recommend this hotel!

Near a loud road but the fan covered the noise. The bathroom was showing some wear but it was clean. No breakfast due to covid, but we had a surprise microwave in our room. Walking distance to several restaurants and right across the road from the grocery store. The room was small, but it had a desk and a table with two chairs. Very soft comfy bed. Decent base for hiking or exploring Bellingham.
