Oh boy. Where does one begin. A short stopover and place to lay our heads for a quick rest turned into a nightmare stay. Yes, this is an inexpensive two star motel and yes we were willing to forego some luxury to grab a quick nap along our journey, but in all honesty this place is not fit to be inhabited and should be shut down. These owners do not care, and are clearly running it into the ground.

Besides feeling like I was checking-in to a prison with the dishevelled night clerk behind glass, the motel had broken windows, fans haphazardly attached to windows, garbage and items that the owners were hoarding clearly spilling over from one of the units and out into the parking lot. The rooms were disgusting, with burns on furniture, holes and tears in sheets, and pillows that were from the 60’s; flatter than pancakes and as yellow as the wallpaper itself.

Additionally, they advertise free wi-fi. None of the routers actually work. When I inquired twice about why this was not working, the aggressive male owner was quick to dismiss me and accused me that I didn't know what I was doing, and that the WIFI worked fine. I assure you, I know how to hook up a router and connect my phone to Wifi.

Lastly, when we left a nice picnic bag, ice pack, and a glass corning ware dish behind in the room, we decided to pick it up on our way back through town not more than 48 hours later. When we approached the desk, before we even explained what was left, we were told that the items were thrown away and no, we were not allowed to go look for the items where they were discarded. Since the items were brand new, we are sure we know where these ended up.

This place is disgusting and if you go against our advice and decide to go; please sleep in a sleeping bag and bring a pillow. *shutter*

Yikes – where to even start with that place? We were visiting Bellingham during an apparently very busy weekend so we could move our son into the dorms at Western Washington University. The hotel was only about 5 minutes from campus, and was the only one we researched that still had vacancies, so despite the negative reviews, we gave it a try. In retrospect, we should have taken our chances driving around and looking for a room. Some of the issues:
- The "non-smoking" room they gave us smelled strongly of smoke
- No shampoo provided
- Shabby carpet
- Hard, uncomfortable pillows
- No coffee in the room
- GIANT spider in the bathroom
- WAY overpriced for the area (not the nicest neighborhood)
- Marijuana bud found under one of the beds
- No wifi (tried to get it to work, but it would not)
The owners moved around in slow motion, and took for ever to check us in. It was very disappointing, and though we planned to stay two nights, checked out after one. Can't recommend it at all.

One of the worst places I have ever stayed! I had to sleep in my ski clothes. So freezing even with heater on. Prostitute in parking lot. I wanted a refund cause I had to leave early to get in a warm Uber. Guy at desk was creepy as hell. Complained about freezing room to him and he said he would of given me a space heater?? Really? Too late. It was miserable. Going to call health department

We recently stayed for 2 nights at the Cascade Inn on a shopping spree to Washington state. Disappointed that our regular "pick"- The Econolodge- had doubled its weekend rates, we sought out accommodation that was cheap and clean. Not expecting much, we were pleasantly surprised for a few reasons: The room was clean and bright. All bedding and linens were spotless. The staff were friendly and efficient. Location was fine- we were only a 5 minute drive to Bellis Fair and Ross. Amenities included a microwave(clean!) and fridge(really cold!). The only downsides that I saw were some of the "long term" guests across the parking lot could have used some serious detoxing or rehab- but they remained quiet and did not interfere with our time there and we couldn't find a nice pub or lounge within walking distance to the motel. In summary, don't expect the Hyatt, but if you need a budget motel to keep more of your spending dollars in the outlet malls(!) the Cascade Inn is not a bad place to stay!

If I could give this motel a minus 100 I would. The place is old, filthy, stinky, etc.
The walls are thin and we can hear the neighbors TV. The beds are old and crappy. The pillows are thin and crappy. The shower curtain is black on the bottom and filthy. The carpet looks like it hasn't been vacuumed or cleaned since 1940. This place had the only vacancy town so we were stuck or we would have had to sleep at the airport.

Soiled carpet and bedsheets. The facility was in such poor condition I assumed there was no room service so left a gold chain and pendant sitting out on the counter only to return and find it missing. No cleaning was done, just a replacement shower curtain and fresh towels. My mistake for leaving valuables out in sight. I was just happy I took my laptop with me when I was away from our room.
There was also supposed to be laundry service but each time my family member went down to use the facility (between 8am - 5pm) The door was locked and no one around to assist at the office.
Do not even consider this overpriced, substandard theft ridden piece of property.

This place is filthy and dimly lit. Morning knock on my door and a male voice said, "housekeeping!" Looking out the peephole I saw an Oriental man wearing jogging shorts and a tank top. Also, rarely do I use internet in public places but I did this time. Next morning my computer read "Wifi not configured" and I could not access internet. When I got home to my home in AZ their website was using my WiFi!!!! Contacted Apple Support who said that's not possible! But mirroring session proved otherwise. Beware this motel.
