We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Bellingham for 3 nights. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great and the room was clean. Everyone was quick to help with anything we needed. Great location near shopping and dining.
Walk across airport parking lot to hotel. It’s evidently conveniently located for late arrivals or early departures right across rental car lot. Rooms and property where updated. Lobby had ample area. Nice comfortable place to have a good night sleep. No Apple Pay at check in, but told it’s about a month away with hotel software upgrade. Check in and out were seamless. Would stay again.
Situated adjacent to the Bellingham International Airport, Holiday Inn Bellingham is convenient for air travelers. Motor vehicle travelers will appreciate its excellent location—off the beaten path and away from the busy traffic of downtown Bellingham--yet a short, easy drive to the Fred Meyers Supermarket and a few popular restaurants on Bakerview Drive. The rooms are quiet and well insulated from aircraft and traffic noise. Underground parking is available for those who need it. The on-site restaurant offers three meals. Our room was quiet, clean and furnished with a microwave, a small refrigerator, and a Keurig. The bed and pillows were cozy and comfortable, conducive to a good night’s sleep. The restroom was spotless and generously-sized with all the expected amenities. All staff members were accommodating and helpful. The hotel is dog-friendly, with pet waste bags towards the rear of the property and a nearby grassy area. The hotel sits on Mitchell Way, a quiet, tree-lined street with level sidewalks, perfect for dog-walking and casual strolling. I would give them 4 stars out of 5. A few minor changes would have earned them 5 stars out of 5: A couple of extra trash bags at the bottom of each receptacle would have been nice. The open-ended, elbow-shaped design of the toilet paper holder was convenient for the housekeeping staff but was a real pain for guests. Offering a room on a lower level for guests with dogs would make trips outside for potty-breaks quicker and easier.…
Very convenient and spacious. Only problem was bedroom has no door. Liked the little kitchen on our king suite. Right next to airport and interstate. Not in town center but short drive. Staff very helpful. Bellingham was convenient base for regional trips.
- The NICEST & NEWEST hotel in Bellingham. - A 2 minute walk from Bellingham International Airport. - Great Park 'n Fly deals. - Clean, clean, clean. - Really FRIENDLY & HELPFUL staff. - Onsite restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. - $90 corporate rate. PERFECT, PERFECT, PERFECT for those early morning flights.
The staff here are quite awesome, and the hotel itself is not only very nice, but it's quiet and easy to get on/off the freeway, etc. In spite of being directly across from an airport, you don't hear the "airport" - (it's an "international" airport, but very few flights coming/going). Rooms are super nice, the grounds look new and the restaurant looks good. I had a great experience and would stay again.
I have stayed at this hotel several times, and was thus very unhappy when I tried to change my reservation 27 hours before checking in, only to find that “changes” count with “cancellations” and the deadline was 7 days earlier! That’s absurd. Apparently this is in the fine print I admittedly never read, but calling it “Free cancellation” i should be false advertising.
This property is a great location for anyone travelling through the Bellingham airport. Rooms were new, fresh and clean. Property had a restaurant on site. Extended stay parking was a bonus! Great front desk staff, including the sweet dog. Love that it is pet friendly. All around another great Holiday Inn experience.
We spent 4 days and 3 nights here. The first morning when we woke up we found that the underside of one of our pillows had bloodstains on it, presumably from a nosebleed from the previous guest. Obviously the pillowcases hadn't been changed between the previous guest and us. I called the front desk as we were leaving for the day and explained the bloodstains and requested for the linens to be changed while we were gone. The front desk did not apologize or offer any explanation. Fine. We come back to our room that night and found a bag with fresh towels and another bag with fresh linens for the bed. No other housekeeping has been done in our room. We had to change our own sheets at 11 before we went to bed. In our entire 3 night 4 day stay we did not receive any housekeeping at all. At no point was our room cleaned, even after an explicit request to the front desk, and clearly the bed was not changed before we arrived. We paid more than $500 to stay 3 nights and received literally no housekeeping. Very disappointed and will steer clear of this hotel in the future.…
Spent two nights at the Holiday Inn and Suites by Bellingham Airport. First night was fine. Second night some unholy rattling sound reverberated from the fan all night, keeping me up. Showed staff two videos in the morning, and they agreed it was loud. No compensation for lack of sleep was provided and i was told manager would have to approve it later in the day. Not sure how they aren’t provided autonomy to make that sort of decision when there was an obvious issue documented with video. Quite disappointed in this stay. Have been here many times prior with no issues.
