My husband and I stayed at the Camas Hotel for three nights while touring Portland. The staff was helpful and the room very comfortable. We stayed in Room 26, the cozy queen. Aptly named, however, we found once we put clothes in the armoire and set away our luggage, the room worked for us. It even had a small desk... More

I found this hotel and was lured by the price (less than $60 for the night I was staying last week). I was visiting a friend in Portland and this didn't seem that far away. And it's not...depending on traffic. Despite that though, this is a very charming old-school hotel. I was on the 3rd floor (#16) and super-small room... More

My husband and I stayed at the Camas Hotel on our way to the Columbia River Gorge area. What a great hotel with old world charm. The desk person gave us some great suggestions for dinner --- all within walking distance of the hotel. We were traveling with our dog, and the restaurants that were suggested allow pets on the... I stayed at Camas Hotel on June 10, 2015. Although I arrived much earlier than the check in time, I was able to check into my room immediately. The front desk clerk was not only very friendly, but she went out of her way to tell me about the local shops, businesses and even gave me free movie tickets to... More

We spent one night on my vacation at Camas Hotel. Greeting was nice and informative. After we left the hotel next day, I got a phone call message that they found my glasses in the bathroom even before I realized I lost them. They kindly mailed them to my house and I appreciated it very much.

We checked in on 8 June 2015, it was about 4 pm. Greeted by Christie and her daughter who were very helpful, even to the point of helping us unload our bags. The lobby atomosphere and presentation are just phenomenal. Have never been greeted at a Hotel / B&B like this before. Everything was explained in minutes, our room and... More

I arrived fairly late to check in and was greeted by a friendly front desk clerk. The only major issue I had was the lack of an elevator, which I neglected to inquire about prior to booking. Once I got my things to my room (#7), I was pleased with everything about the room. Nice tv, free wi-fi, fridge, keurig,... More

Passing through the area, between Hoodsport, a concert in Portland, OR and a roadtrip to Boise, Idaho, I just needed a room for the evening. I didn't take advantage of the breakfast, as was meeting friends in the morning before leaving for a 400 mile drive, so cannot comment on the meal. Beyond adequate for a solo traveler that just... We were on a family trip to deal with GMA and GPA, we stayed in Camas because Sis-in-law lives in Camas. They have done a wonderful job bringing back this company hotel into day. Built to house employees and visitors to the local paper mill, they have done a wonderful job with the remodel. It was a long climb up... More

Great little hotel with a kitchen that can be used on the floor, nice bathrooms in the hall for those without a bathroom in the room. 104 years old and lots of character. Nice little seating areas available too. Coffee and green tea available in the room.
