Detailed Reviews
This is a pretty nice place to stay, spacious room and comfortable beds. Just two minor things to point out. The chairs around the table are terrible, the padding is all broken down and you feel like you're going to fall through when you sit down. You can literally feel the wooden frame on your tush.
The curtains on the windows are userless to keep the light out. Why can't they spend $20-30 on some blackout curtains? If you need darkness to sleep you'll be very disappointed here.
However if you like cinnamon rolls grab one in the cafe. Most excellent.

Great location, very close to the lake and a nice park directly across the street. Very reasonably priced and easy to book. Friendly staff and quiet. The room was cozy and adequately equipped. It did appear clean upon entry but later discovered an empty pizza box and some other litter under beds. This left some question to the quality of cleaning and disinfecting performed. We would have given a higher service rating if not for this oversight.
The cafe was only open Fri-Sun and was not available to us during our mid-week stay. Check ahead to see if this changes.

Having two dogs in tow, we were looking for something minimal but also nice and comfortable. Riverwalk Inn totally fit the bill! The absolute perfect location with the park and river just steps from your front door and the rest of town a matter of a block or two away--easy access but no noise.
Clancy (gorgeous tall creature) was extremely pleasant and helpful.
Definitely will be back.

We have stayed here for the Jazz Festival the last 2 years with minimal issues. This year the grounds were atrocious. 8-10" dandelions all over the lawn. All the outside furniture to use was filthy. All they had to do is hose it off to make it look better. The room needed help. Toilet seat wanted to fall off. The TP holder was barely attached to wall. Face plate on drawer in kitchen was falling off. I know the cafe is separate entity, but it took too long to get one breakfast with only a couple customers. Self-serve coffee was always empty as well. Steps to their "deck" were in horrible shape. Deck was filthy as well like it hadn't seen a broom in weeks. Needed some new boards and a coat of stain. Just looked very rundown. The location is what has brought us there in the past, but the lack of effort to make this place presentable was disappointing. Not to mention, they raised their rates this year. Not worth $450 for 3 nights. Would have thought that a busy Festival weekend would have made them tidy up the place.

My daughter book this place thinking the $300+ was for 2 nights. When she realized it was for each night, she tried to cancel. We find out if you cancel you will still be charged for a night. Instead of losing the $300+ we kept the reservation for a total of $641.71!!! When we got there I could definitely see how my daughter thought the $300+ had to be for 2 nights and, I might say over priced at that amount. In Texas the reservation for a place like that would be $70 per night. Tiny room with WINDOW AC UNITS!!! Not even central air. Not quite as bad as I would imagine a hotel that rents by the hour for working women would be, but certainly NOT a $300 per night place.
The only plus I can give this Inn is that the sheets were clean.

My husband and I stayed at the Riverwalk Inn for 2 nights and slept horribly. The bed was just awful. Saggy and soft. Pretty sure the mattress was either very old or very cheap and then they added a foam topper making it even more squishy. My husband and I kept rolling towards the middle of the bed. And although the room heater heated up the room nicely, it was so loud. Every time it would start blowing warm air it sounded like a child screaming and/or a space ship taking off.
It would have been nice to have a hairdryer in the bathroom.
Otherwise, this place has a ton of potential. Very cute and a awesome location for walking around Chelan.

The room had a slow-draining sink, so we were given a new room right away. The property is a little aged, but the furniture modern and inviting. The bed is a little soft and there is no closet, however the 2-bed room was large and included a dining table. There is a cafe out front, but we didn't get to try it. Very nice river park across the street and we managed to run into a free concert!

My husband and I along with our small dog recently stayed at the Riverwalk Inn and Cafe in Chelan, Washington. The accommodations were very comfortable including two queen size beds with pillow topper mattresses, and a kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator and hot pot. It was clean and quiet. Although the café is not open during the winter season, the Inn is located right in the downtown core within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Public parking at the Riverwalk Park next door was so convenient for us to park a small utility trailer and the beautiful park was perfect to take our dog for walks & potty breaks.
This is our second time to stay at the Riverwalk Inn and Café. We will certainly stay there again in the future.

We were in town to attend the Mahogany and Merlot event. A very good time.
We had a set of rooms in the older part of the Inn. These two rooms were connected via a shower room. Each room had it's own restroom. The Inn shows its age, but does have a newer section which looks nice. I'd stay in the same or similar room again if we needed to visit Chelan.
The listing said breakfast available, but not included.

Just plain awful! Tempted to call 911 and report this whole thing as a robbery, which it was. This is a $60 per night place at the very best. Ignore the 4 and 5 star ratings, they are either faked or written by relatives of the owners because my two stars was actually pretty generous. The beds are very old and uncomfortable. It’s a very old motel that has had zero updates beyond paint and carpet, but it has a really great location. It should be torn down to the studs and completely over-hauled. There isn’t even any cool old stuff inside that would be worth saving, they should just gut it and redo everything. It seemed reasonably clean, but our building had a heavy food smell combined with a solid blast of mold and mildew. Would not recommend except as a last resort. All this for $300/night.
