We stayed in a King Suite, it was spacious and had a beautiful view of the lake mountains. The off season rate was a great deal for what it included. It was very quiet, room had a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The bed was very comfortable, plenty of nice pillows. Slept very well. The complimentary breakfast was good, the food selection was scramble eggs, sausage, waffles, bagels, cereal, yogurt, and juices, coffee, etc. The breakfast room is large and has bay windows with a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. We enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Our room was spacious and had a beautiful view of the lake. We came during the off season, so it was very quiet. Our room had a mini fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. The complimentary breakfast was very good and included sausage, eggs, waffles, bagels, cereal, yogurt, and juices, coffee, and hot chocolate. The breakfast room is huge and has huge windows, overlooking the lake. We really enjoyed our stay. My only complaint is the expensive dog fees. We have 2 small dogs and stayed 4 nights. The dog fee was $160; way too much. There should be a cap on the fees not to exceed, say, $50 to $75.

Spent 2 nights here and overall it was an enjoyable experience in a very clean 2 room suite overlooking the outdoor swimming pool and lake. Sofa was uncomfortable. Bath room is very small and the toilet seat is almost level with the floor. The breakfast buffet was adequate and included a few hot dishes. The "hot" water thermos had been used for coffee previously thus my lukewarm tea tasted like coffee. The breakfast room staff seemed to spend most of their time people watching and weren't as friendly as the rest of staff here. We could hear noise from the room above and the one next to us. Would we stay here again if we returned to Chelan probably not if it was for more than one night.

I’m only giving one star because you have to input something. We booked our reservation for the weekend of the 4th of July (booked a month in advance). On Friday we started our weekend with wine tasting since check in is not until 3. As we wrapped up at 3 and prepared to go check in to the hotel, I received a call saying our room was booked out. Apparently “this happens when booking through booking.com”. Completely shocked this happened and after going back and forth with the employee to push for her to figure out a solution, as it is their responsibility, she finally mentioned there was 1 room available but for Friday only. The employee then proceeded to say she would work to get us a hotel for Saturday in addition to a gift card in the amount of $50 for their restaurant. The hotel they put us in was not just a downgrade, it was disgusting, dirty and the room was tiny. I have reached out numerous times with my frustration and have yet to receive a response. In addition to the lack of professionalism in follow through and customer service, the “solutions” they offered were completely ridiculous. I should have received a complimentary weekend stay and instead they gave us a dirty hotel and offered a gift card that could maybe buy a bottle of wine (which they never even gave us). I would not recommend this place unless you’re willing to roll the dice in having reservation issues and being potentially stranded or put in a dumpy hotel.

We are actually repeat customers of this hotel, until our experience today. Despite the website saying to call ahead to accommodate additional pets, and the fact that one of ours is a service animal and the other two are tiny (7 lbs), they refused to accommodate. Until today, I recommended this place to everyone visiting Chelan. Be aware so you don't end up without a place to stay.

Loved this place! The room and facilities were clean and well maintained. Staff was excellent. Daily housekeeping was provided even during pandemic restrictions. Rented a room with a cooktop and small convection/microwave oven. Basic kitchen supplies were provided. Breakfast buffet was provided in a spacious dining area. A city park and boat launch in located right next to the hotel. Would definitely recommend this facility if you are visiting Chelan.

Spent two nights at Lakeside Lodge when visiting Lake Chelan this March for hiking and wine tasting. Easy check in, clean room with comfortable bed, fast Wi-Fi and ok breakfast. Great location right on the shore of the lake close to the downtown and bunch of wineries and hiking trails. Will stay again.

I had requested a pool side room not realizing that meant the outdoor pool that obviously is closed in January. My fault and Not a big deal but I do think they should change the advertising on the room types during the winter months. The pool area as a boarded off construction area and a broken wall that doesn’t appear to be actively being fixed. They have big cloth covers on the lounge style chairs that obviously do not get cleaned and ya know COVID and all. They should be removed and disposed of judging by how old and dirty they look. The pool area is not cleaned at night as we arrived to swim in the am before check out and peoples broken google, wet socks, shirts and hair ties where scattered on the floor. All of which was present in the same locations the evening before when we left the pool. The rooms are typical hotel rooms. My biggest complaint was how loud it was. We couldn’t even hear our TV in the room because we had disrespectful neighbors. One set of neighbors was playing loud music and the neighbors directly above us allowed their children to jump and scream and run. This continued after 10pm even though I complained to the front desk. The noise started back up in the morning.

We might give the hotel another try in the summer but it’s a almost 4 hour drive for us so unlikely when their are so many better areas in the same driving distance for us.

It’s unfortunate that this hotel isn’t taken better care of as it has a prime location and so much potential.

Hi, we are sorry to hear you were disappointed with your stay. We do consistently clean our pool area and use a disinfectant spray twice a day in that area which kills 99.9% of virus-causing germs. We work hard to provide wonderful experiences for all of our guests and we're sorry you felt we missed the mark.

Property location was beautiful. Amenities and help were average. Staff started locking up doors to common areas before they were advertised to close. In planning the trip, family was planning on doing breakfasts at the hotel, since they had pictures of to-go breakfasts on the website. Attached a picture of actual to go breakfast. Ended up having to scramble for new breakfast plan. Would rather they had just not advertised so we could have planned better.

Above and beyond! The extra mile! Over the top! Just the beginning of how we would describe our recent stay at Lakeside Lodge. From our initial phone call with Lupe on Thursday until our exit phone call with Tom the following Thursday we felt like we were the most pampered guests at the entire hotel.
My husband is a disabled veteran and we have found over the years that most hotel beds in ADA rooms are several inches too high for him to transfer from his wheelchair to the bed. Henry happily measured bed heights, door widths, chair sizes, etc. to assure us that the room selected for us would accommodate our very specific needs. Alisha moved our reservation to the forefront knowing that we needed to coordinate our stay with family also vacationing in Chelan. Tom, the manager, personally showed me how to operate the the disability lift chair at the inside pool so that my husband was able to enjoy a swim. He made sure it was installed before we arrived.
We had originally booked two nights but requested two additional nights after our arrival and the friendly desk staff made it happen without without us having to change our room. We stayed in an ADA King Suite and it was equipped with every amenity we could possibly ask for. Location, comfort, luxury, in an immaculately clean room. WOW!
Because no accommodation is completely perfect, my only small suggestion might be to alternate the bag breakfast (for which we were very grateful) options to include some other protein items besides peanut butter crackers since so many children suffer from peanut allergies. Due to Covid-19 restrictions we were not able to enjoy the regular full breakfast that is included. A meal prior guests and employees rave about.
At a time when we all could use a great get-away we say, " Get to Lakeside Lodge and Suites ASAP. You wont be disappointed!'

P.S. We've already made our reservation for next year!
Heartfelt thanks to everyone at Lakeside Lodge

Charlie and Wanda

I really don't now. However, I'd bet money on the fact they do. We were on the top level in a suite facing the water and I'm sure there was air conditioning in that room. I was raise in Eastern Washington and it can get really hot there.
