We stayed here for two nights in August with a 1 year old. We arrived after 6 and found a campsite no problem (they don't take reservations but say they have never turned anyone away!). The grounds are well-kept and our toddler loved running around the lawn and seeing a bunny. There is only one true bathroom, but it does...

We camped here and half the sites were really nice and tucked away, the others were on a slope or too out in the open for my taste. The quiet curfew was good, and based on the rudeness of the owner, if anyone were noisy I'm certain he'd yell at them. He doesn't seem to like anyone and seemed annoyed...

We traveled hours with small children to arrive at The Lost Cabins in the afternoon. There was a big grassy yard in front of the cabins we set up to play badminton/ volleyball and our toddlers could run on the grass without worry .The grounds were well kept. We made reservations without any difficulty for all three cabins The cabins...

We stopped in here for directions and to get some snacks from the "General Store" but the man behind the counter was SO rude we left without purchasing anything and with minimally helpful directions. This campground is the last thing on a road that deadends in a national park but there were no rangers and a 13 mile hike to...

Last minute reservation by phone with a gentle woman on the line. Cabin was neat and very pleasant; mind that there are just three of them, so reserve n advance if high season. No water, just electricity in cabin and an electric stove which was horribly noisy, so I have a doubt about going in winter... Toilet and showers are...

We booked a cabin just a few days prior to the trip. When booking the cabin, I was asked to provide my credit card info for the booking (it turned out that the woman on the phone had the wrong card number and spelling of my name due to low voice quality of the phone). There're only three cabins there...

The website talks nothing about winter hours or anything else.In October I called to make reservations to take my kids camping out there. The guy who answered the phone was not only RUDE, but annoyed I had called him in the off season to go camping. The only reason to use this place is it is close to lake Ozette...

I checked into a (charming, clean) cabin with the intention of hiking the Ozette loop late in the afternoon and coming back at sunset. I asked how long they served dinner, and the gal checking me in told me that I needed to get back by six, because Rob (the owner) didn't like to cook after that. So I left the...

I made a reservation a little less than two weeks out, for one weeknight in a cabin. Three days before the date I was supposed to arrive, I had car trouble. I called to cancel and they reminded me that if they couldn't rent the cabin, they would charge me for it. They didn't rent it, I guess, because they...

We checked in after hours, after communicating with the office. Later that night we were asked to not use the camp bathrooms. Once we assured them that we were guests, it was ok. No smoking signs litter the area, including the entrance to the lodge, which reeks of smoke. We stayed in the cabin, the most expensive one of our...

“If the loop for campsites is a clock with the general store at 4:00, go counterclockwise to anywhere from 11:00 to 9:00. They are the furthest from the store/showers and the outhouses, so if that's a consideration, stay closer in, but I liked the wooded seclusion of these sites.”
