Yes this is an older building but I think you will be amazed. As near as I can tell this may have been an older rundown place that is now owned or managed by some nice middle aged folks. The older pictures do not do this place justice. My room has a very contemporary feel with some rustic touches. I...

We enjoyed our stay here. Our room was basic but had everything in it we needed. The staff were helpful. Breakfast was pretty good with cereal, fruit and bagels etc. For the price, this motel represents excellent value. Here you get more than you pay for..... (in a good way)! My wife tells me I slept through the train passing...

I thought that the room was wonderful. We got one of the suites with 2 queen beds and I was pleasantly surprised by all of the room. Love the laminate floors in the lobby and in the rooms. Bed was very comfortable and it did not have the ugly old bedspreads that are in the pictures, had more of a...

We to a friend's wedding at Suncadia and decided to stay here to save some cash. The room was nice and clean with simple decor. Got two bed room instead of the one bed I asked for but whatever, no big deal. The staff was very friendly and the continental breakfast was decent. My main problems were the noise of...

Stayed here 10-11-16 on way to Seattle. This was just a brief overnight stay, so not much to report. Front desk person was friendly. The room was decent sized and quiet. I did get greeted at 1030pm and 630am by a freight train, but that is part of the small town ambience. Breakfast was adequate. I stay here again. Noticed...

We were looking for an inexpensive room for the night while traveling home after a vacation on the coast. Room was nice, though it could use some updating. Motel was quiet, clean and comfortable. I had read some other reviews here that mentioned noise from trains...we didn't have any issue with that...the only train we heard was at 8:30 in...

When we travel, I look for clean, vintage properties. I prefer privately owned places vs. chain hotels! The Price point is important too! Timberlodge will be another place to keep in my Trip book! The AARP discount made this property a diamond in the rough! We will be back!

I was so relieved after driving all the way from Tacoma where there was no vacancies anywhere to find this hidden gem had a vacancy. Tacoma, auburn, and Seattle besides the 300+ dollar rooms were all booked. We got here after midnight after driving by two nearby motels that had no vacancies. The night staff was amazing and very welcoming....

We stopped in Cle Elum on our way home from Seattle and booked this place because of the price. The entry is beautiful and the room is sufficient. Plus you can't complain when you also get a continental breakfast at such a low price!
