We really enjoyed our recent 2 night stay in lodge room 7. The room was clean and the bed was VERY comfortable. Loved everything about this place and would have given it 5 stars but for the poor Internet connectivity. The first night Internet cut...More
Showed up and no one was in office to check us in or answer questions. Just a gift bag with our name on it that contained a map and our room keys. We stayed in the main lodge which was basically a house with maybe...More

I think the inn should not be classified as a B & B. Unless it stands for bed & basket. Very remote setting and had we not stopped in as early as we did to just check out location, it would have been very difficult...More

Just to clearify, the Deer Harbor Inn does not market ourselves as a bed and breakfast but a country inn. Sorry the guest mis- understood. During the off -season we try to be in the office as the ferries arrive but we do not have...More
We spent two lovely nights in the Pond Cottage. It was just like a wonderful home in the woods with two comfortable beds and two baths. Even had a craw foot tub in the master bedroom. We watched Dancing with the Stars on a large...More

The above answers seem to tell it all. Our cell phones did not work in that area of the island. We did not even try the WiFi as we were there to get away from it all. The TV was small and we never turned it on. We did not get a chance to eat at the restaurant, as it was only open in the evenings. We would spend the day in other parts of the island, and had always eaten by the time we came back to the lodge. Breakfast consisted of some yogurt, some breakfast bars, and some coffee that can hold you over until you can go out to seek breakfast. This is a great get-away spot, not a resort.
