It took us nine years to return to the area of the Juan de Fuca strait, that island-dotted sea channel between mainland British Columbia and Vancouver Island. Our first glimpse of the San Juan Islands had been from a zodiac boat out of Victoria harbor -- we found no whales that day, but we did see the San Juans and... More

Our stay couldn't have been more relaxing and beautiful. This stunning location was something out of a magazine of a perfect inn. Jeremy couldn't have been more gracious and welcoming. The cookies on the bed were decadent and though we had to leave too early for breakfast on our last day he made sure we had a breakfast to take... More

My husband and I had the pleasure of spending a long weekend at the Inn on Orcas Island. It was fabulous. Jeremy is the perfect host, making sure you have anything you could possibly need while John cooks amazing gourmet breakfasts. We felt so spoiled. Every detail has been thought of at this place. It is so rare to see... More

Staying at the Inn on Orcas Island was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Jeremy was gracious, welcoming, and provided terrific restaurant recommendations and other tips. John’s breakfasts were phenomenal and the Inn itself was immaculate, cozy, and well-appointed. We very much enjoyed the beautiful view, sitting room, and grounds. Every detail, from the champagne to the homemade cookies,... More

My husband and I live in Friday Harbor, but find it unnecessary to go further than the next island over when we need a vacation. The Inn on Orcas Island is beautifully set along an estuary and illustrates the diversity of Orcas Island, with some of the best hiking in Washington state just minutes away. And the hearty, lovingly prepared... More

Consider this: a boy’s dream of one day owning an inn on Orcas Island comes true. As you can imagine, innkeeper Jeremy nurtures his dream with the perfection and elegance of the Inn on Orcas Island. Everything from the perfectly angular wall paintings to the epicurean breakfast (perfectly plump eggnog French toast, sausage and mushroom tart, homegrown perfectly moist blackberry... More

It is rare to find nothing but Excellent reviews on anything anymore. My wife and I had the great pleasure to stay 3 days and were just blown away. We had left our hotel plans very open as we traveled through parts of Washington. We used Trip advisor to find all of our hotels while on that trip. This Inn... More

Everything about our visit to The Inn on Orcas Island was perfect. Over the years, we have stayed at many Bed and Breakfasts on Orcas specifically and many many other locations throughout the USA. This was by far the most pleasant in terms of Jeremy's hospitality and John's amazing cookies. Comfort, ambiance, location were all perfect. The art and decorations... More
