Room was clean, hardwood floors, nicer tv. But the smell from the sink is bad. Never stayed anywhere that the shuttle was actually charged to my room. So really it's just a way to get an extra 8 bucks out of you.
Pluses: the girl at front desk was nice, helpful, and the shuttle drivers both ways were pleasant.
Minuses: loud road noise, smelly sewage smell from sink

This hotel is adequate. It's not nice, it's not terrible, it's not anything but adequate. I booked online through an online travel site.

Interestingly enough, Even though I had PAID for my room in advance and in full for two nights. My flight was delayed into Seattle. Knowing that the room had been paid for in full, I assumed there was no problem. When I arrived, my room was SOLD. They said that after 10pm, even if your room is fully paid for and if you are not there they sell the room and you have no recourse, no room if they've sold out and since you've booked and paid already, they really don't care.

quite frankly it's theft.

After reading some of the negative reviews, I was pretty skeptical about staying here. The hotel is dated and a little worn, i.e., hole in comforter, old style TV, etc. However, the front desk staff was very courteous and the room was very clean and decent sized with a comfortable bed. The pillows looked a little flat but I brought my own so it was not an issue. For the price and location, I would stay here again. The only negative would be the soda machine that charged my debit card $5 for a $1.50 coke.

Booked online via booking.com for 2 rooms/2 nights for $600 and when got there very late 11pm, a very rude staff simply told us there was no room available and did not bother to service us.
I got so mad and pissed off and asked him why since we had a confirmation already and he just walked to his room in the back.

I paid $222 to park my car at the Sea-Tac Valu Inn while I was away on vacation. It was majorly vandalized ($4000 to fix) and the Valu Inn would not cover the expense. it's not a safe place to park or be at.

The worst experience of my life. First of all, it took over an hour for the Shuttle to get to the airport, and another hour to get the keys to my room. And then, the lady in the front desk gave me keys card that doesn't work. I was upstairs, and had to back downstairs twice, and the Key card still won't work. After the second go around, and it was raining too, I asked to cancel my reservation and she refused and just walked away and sit back in the office. At that point, I knew that I would rather go and sit on the chair at the airport, than spend the night at a roach motel with a nasty employee. At that point she said she could book me a room on the ground floor, but cannot cancel my reservation, that I have to call the manager in the morning for that. Overall, please stay away from this place if you could. Needless to say, I had to leave the hotel at 12 midnight, without a room and no refund! But hey, I would rather sleep on the chair in the airport than that that so called hotel.

Don’t Ever Use this business. We paid ($300) for secure parking while we were away and returned to our whole back window broken out. Attendant on duty handed my husband the car keys and said “we accept no responsibility, get in your car and drive away.” They say they check their “secure” lot ever 30 min but in reality the GM who we spoke to the next day had no idea what had occurred nor did she care. The back of the car was soaked thru so it had probably been vandalized for quite awhile and they never knew or cared. “We take no responsibility” seems to be their only reply. How can a business not have basic liability insurance. They are cheaper for a reason. Beware of their scam business. Don’t use this lot located at 22246 Pacific Hwy S, Des Moines, WA.

This was absolutely the perfect hotel for our needs. A friend and I went to Seattle to visit a friend and on travolocity, booking a flight and this hotel together was actually cheaper than the flight alone, so we took the chance saying that we could always switch hotels if it wasn't up to par. We loved our room! It was clean, the bathroom was clean, there was even a fridge and a microwave. The TV had cable and great reception. Who could really ask for more? The staff was so friendly. I had a bad case of toncilitis and needed to go to the hospital. The kind woman at the desk retrieved directions for me and even asked if I was feeling better. There's a nice conveniance mart right across the street for all those snacks and sodas people are want to have. If you like spacious rooms, big beds, pool, tennis courts, and all those perks, try another place. If you want a super great price and a cozy, clean, efficiant room, the Sea Tac Valu Inn is my recomondation

Like many others I read the reviews before booking my stay at the Sea Tac Valu Inn, and while not all the previous patrons left glowing remarks, it still sounded like it was good enough for our needs. My friend and I had a complete itinerary planned, spending a few days in Seattle, then traveling north to Burlingame, south to Friday Harbor, on to the Olympic National Park and back into Seattle. We started our trip by booking just one night at the Valu Inn, figuring it would be fine for the first night in town and we could find another hotel the next day. We were so pleased with this hotel with it's clean rooms, clean & comfy beds, fresh towels and even a nice view that reminded us of home, that we decided to book this hotel for all of our Seattle overnighters. When we went downstairs to book a room for that night they went as far to adjust their incoming guests so they could give us the same room so we didn't have to move our luggage. They were so helpful and friendly, we booked our last night in Seattle so we had a place to land when we returned from the National Park and we were able to start our Seattle vacation in complete comfort! If all you need is a place to store your things, a comfry room to return to after hoofin' it all over Seattle, in a convenient location, the Sea Tac Valu Inn is fits the bill! Especially at it's amazingly reasonable rates! We will definitely stay here again.

I arrived to a hopeful rest to find a HUGE DIRTY MALE who could barely walk huffing and puffing to the window.
They lose agreements at the end of the day do drive fast!.
1. They take a deposit from you and lie about refunding it.
2. The non smoking room reaked if smokers. Carpets, bedding etc.

3. The bed literally had lumps ftom an old matresses.

4. Prostitutes and drug dealers use it because it's on 99 and management cares less about clientelle.

5. I drive a Z4 BMW Convertable snd the next day it had a huge scrape along the drivers door and down my hood.

6. Gangsters sit on the stairs and hang over the rails watching you move in to the room.

There's no way I would risk taking a child there due to the dangerous activity there and possible gangs or pimps having fights etc.

I used HOTELS.COM for this booking and they also showed no concern at all on who they recommend so Expedia or Trivago might be a better bet.

Trust this post I'm not kidding this is a very dangerous place to sleep.

Good luck in your travels! Stay safe!
