Rosario Resort is one of the queens of the San Juan Islands. Quiet charm (at least now that the summer season is over), great views, and great food. We rented a two bedroom suite to accommodate the three of us and it was wonderful. Fully equipped with every convenience, we could have stayed a month. A couple of tiny issues...

This is a very well known and historic resort that seems to have fallen on hard times as evidenced by maintenance issues with the buildings and grounds. We were not given the room type that we had reserved and we found the staff to be somewhat distant with the exception of the staff at the Cascade Bay Grill. We understand...

Beautiful view of the bay, great towels, linens and robes. The room is not huge, but has plenty of space to move around. It also has a nice balcony for viewing & relaxing. The entry to the room is through an inside hall which has a little bit of a mildew smell, but he room itself did not smell. They could...

We spent a couple of nights here after bailing on a b&b that was not a good fit. We had a lovely clean and up to date hillside room with a view of the harbor and sea planes. Loved walking the spectacular grounds in the evening; ate twice in the affordable restaurant at the marina. Vet convenient to Moran State...

We stayed at one of the condos a little ways away from the resort and enjoyed a fantastic view. The services at the resort were fantastic including the spa. I had a manicure with an outstanding technician, Leila. While the spa services were not as fancy as some of the other places, the setting was beautiful. I only wish the...

This was our second stay at the resort. We were in the Bayside King room with a mansion view. All of the furnishings in the room were new since our last visit 4 years ago. The bed and linens were still ultra comfortable. The bathroom is a decent size with the well lit sink and vanity area separate from the...

Considering the other reviews, we selected two Bayside Waterfront King guest rooms, both of which had large balconies looking directly out over the water. I think these were clearly the best rooms in the resort and well worth paying a little extra for. Comfortable, large rooms, plenty of floor space. The view down the sound was amazing - we spent...

Just had a brief 2 night stay with friends, but was disappointed. Overall the setting for the resort is quite lovely. Unfortunately, the rooms are pretty tired & could do with some major updating, including improved air conditioning & new towels. Front desk seemed to be unaware of all that the resort offered and the restaurant, although beautiful, could do...

Rosario Resort is a charming property. We spend four days there, staying in a Harborside king room, and toured the island daily. The grounds are extremely well kept. Some of the available activities, such as sailing and the daily talk/concert by Mr. Peacock, end September 15. Next time we'll plan accordingly. The restaurant is excellent, and a slightly different menu...

We've lived over 20 year in Seattle, and now just getting around to San Juans for more than a ferry ride/day visit. Rosario is a well-advertised nicely kept historical spot, very nice dining, friendly staff. We stayed in a Harborside King Suite, basically built like an 80's one bedroom apartment building, LR/kitchenette with view looking east at the Mansion. LR...
