I'll start by saying that the owner, Deannie, is one of the nicest folks you'd ever want to meet. My wife and I stayed two nights in the Bella cottage (see photo), which is the largest of the 3 available. Bella has a queen bed, its own deck overlooking a beautiful yard with many flowers, and a private driveway close...

Thankfully, I found this location through recommendations by two other places I first called who had no availability. We were so pleasantly surprised. The property has great curb appeal, the property offers three different cottages which are all great & comfy. We stayed in Cottages #'s 2 Edward & 3 Jacob. The garden is relaxing and so beautiful. We enjoyed...

I can't say anything much about Forks as a town, I don't see anything to recommend it but a place to buy supplies....and the main road has the basic motels, so the Shadynook is a great alternative. peaceful, charming off the beaten track. A few cottages run by a friendly great grandmother! We stayed in the Bella cottage, fine for...

My wife and I stay at the Shadynook Cottages every time we visit Forks! We love it! The hostess and owner of the Cottages is wonderful! She is why we love Forks so much! Love the "at home" atmosphere and the feeling of coming home! The cottages are quaint and not fancy, just what we were looking for! The gardens...

The owner is absolutely hospitable! Cottages are clean, but tiny. The beds are comfortable, the hide a bed is doable but is a typical hide a bed. It is a great way to experience the whole area, a home like feel in the middle of a Great location. Not far from the rain forest, the push beach, and port Angeles....

I'm a Twihard, tard so when we went to visit our friends in Seattle, we HAD to make the trek to the Olympic Peninsula to be and stay in Forks. My husband found these adorable cottages. We stayed in the Bella cottage which was so cozy and dreamy that I didn't want to leave. We had stopped at the Country...

This is an excellent choice. Lodging is limited and most of the motels look alittle run down. The Shadynook Cottages are cute, newer, and easy to find just a couple blocks from the main drag. We had a great experience with our accomodations. Clean, roomy, private, and well worth the price. We stayed in the Bella cottage and we had...

Even though we weren't knocked out by our cottage, I do believe that this may be one of the better places to stay in Forks. Most of the hotels/motels we drove by seemed pretty run down, so we were relieved to be staying here. We stayed in the "Bella" cottage. There were just two of us, and it was very...

I must admit that i was a bit dubious booking a month-long stay at a place that I'd only seen via pictures on the internet. However, I can honestly state that I was very pleased that I decided to take a chance and stay at Shadynook Cottages. My trip to Forks was both personal and business-related. I'm a writer, and...

We had a pleasant stay. The purpose of our trip was to experience the 'Twilight' tour. The cottages are named after the characters. We stayed in team 'Jacob' since the other 2 cottages Bella & Edward is occupied. The insides of our cottage are decorated with twilight themes- Jacobs posters in particular. You will find a small reading corner where...

“Bella is larger than the Jacob. Edward is about the same as Bella. But if you are not going to be in your cottage much of the time, then go for the Jacob. After the Jacob cottage, I prefer the Bella. It has a lovely porch to sit on and enjoy the garden.”
