Great town perfect for couples. The staff is wonderful and very friendly. Breakfast is a delight. Bikes that are available are fun .... .....Love the Deluxe King Suit............. Hot tea in lobby and a reading nook
We have been going to this place for years. They do an incredible job here. There's a variety of rooms to choose from, and they're all very tastefully done. There's a freshly baked cookie waiting for you when you arrive. The staff is super friendly. They have nice breakfast included. You're within walking distance of town.
We have stayed at the Wild Iris Inn over the last 9 years for our anniversary all but 2 years. This year 2022 in July was disappointing to say the least. Where did the cookies and wonderful staff go? No greetings at the desk upon arrival unless u call a telephone with the message "dial 0 for assistance " a greeting. Rooms are unkept, dirty carpet, dirty jacuzzi tub and rooms seem outdated. Breakfast is horrible with unhealthy foods prepared by the help ... The management not so friendly. We had power outages more than once in our room and then a entire hotel outage. We had an early dinner cruise planned and when we approached the management letting him knowbwe needed light in the bathroom to get ready he said we could take a shower in the dark. Bathroom was pitch black. We also asked if we could get a refund for that day the power was out and was told no It was still before 11am checkout time and we didn't want to stay in a room with no power and no set time for the power to come back on. After I responded to management the female manager threatened to have me removed from the premises . We will never be back........ I only hope the owners see this review and do something about the poor management situation before the Inn gets any worse Change management Do a descent Breakfast Clean up the rooms Thank you for listening Unhappy couple…
Had a wonderful stay at this beautiful bed-and-breakfast for our wedding anniversary. Darien at the front desk was absolutely delightful and very helpful in choosing a restaurant for a romantic dinner. The room was very cozy and charming with the fireplace and Jacuzzi tub in the room.
Gorgeous hotel. Carl was super friendly and welcoming. Extremely comfortable bed. La Connor is amazing. So quaint, great restaurants. Hotel is easy walk to all of them. Highly recommend both the hotel and the town itself
Perfect location for a getaway weekend in La Conner. Rooms are clean, comfortable; a short walk to downtown. We had a King room with an outdoor jacuzzi. Breakfast was wonderful and delivered by cheerful staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful. This was our first visit but we will be back!
It was sad to return to a place I have stayed at over a dozen times and see it such a shell of its former self. The cookies are gone, the welcoming staff are gone, the excellent breakfast are no longer. While it was once a place you kept thinking about and longing to get back to, now it just feels indifferent. The rooms are still nice, though a bit stripped down and with no welcoming cookie or floral treats. The staff was mostly not there " a sign on the counter saying Dial 0 if you want someone" and there were no cups for the hot water or coffee. If it is not going to continue the wonderful traditions of the old Wild Iris, what is it this place is trying to be?
Just an excellent place. Clean, well-maintained, everything you could want in a B&B. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms cozy. One half of the proprietor team prepares the very tasty breakfasts while the other half, Carl "Two Specials", delivers the food along with morning cheer and comedic comments. Reservations and billing were done perfectly. It is not easy to run a B&B, and this one's ratings reflect just how well they do it!
The room was clean, comfortable and the hotel is just a couple of blocks from the downtown shopping and river walk. The 10 PM quiet time was really great as it made the hotel so quiet you could hear a pin drop and we slept like babies. Tess and Carl, the managers, the managers were very friendly and helpful. Tess' homecooked breakfasts are to die for. There is coffee, tea, and lemon water in the lobby all the time and a lovely porch to sit on and relax. I definitely would stay here again.
I and my partner only stayed one night, but we rate this as one of the best stays we have experienced. More like a very friendly B&B then a hotel. Accommodations and stqff are truly first class, and the price is reasonable. Excellent breakfast with made to order items. If you want the best hotel in La Conner stay here, but WARNING you need to book early,.
