Due to weather related power outage the first night (of a two night stay), I was concerned about the lack of emergency lighting and in the room instruction for safely navigating dark hall way if evacuation was necessary. The staff, one man, seemed annoyed when we were asking questions the following morning. Hospitality is lacking at this inn. The second morning, my friends and I were asked to leave our table in the dining room for “ other paying customers” all the while there was no on waiting to seat and empty tables around us. We were puzzled at this request. I was in La Conner to celebrate my 74th birthday. The man in charge was condescending and rude. Not the experience I was hoping for!

Great location about a ten minute walk to the main downtown area. La Conner is small so it doesn't take long to get anywhere. Front desk manager was very nice and helpful. The Inn is well-maintained and quiet. Our room was great - nice king size bed and an air-conditioning unit that worked well. Minor complaint about water flow from the showerhead - I'm all in for water conservation but the water flow wasn't adequate for me. I've never mentioned this in a review before. Breakfast the following morning was very good! It would be nice to have soy, oat or almond milk available for those who don't eat/drink dairy products. We had dinner at Santo Coyote Mexican Kitchen on Morris Street - highly recommended! Family run restaurant with a large, varied menu. Everything was excellent.

Nice room, but few chairs to sit in. Oversized soaking tub in room takes up all space. Recommend room without tub. Breakfast was very good with big selection. Quiet area and close to village attractions.

What a delightful inn! We came to see the daffodil fields which are quite close to the inn. Our room, just above the office, was quiet, very clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was supplied. Breakfast was delicious with a Mexican frittata and salsa, fresh coffee, orange juice and a variety of sweet breads and fresh fruit. Will definitely stay here again when the tulips are in bloom.

It was a beautiful place to spend a romantic time. Enjoyed the fireplace and jetted spa. Downtown is walkable distant. Breakfast was outstanding. The hot item was a fiesta frittata which was really good. Baked goods were really good. The gluten free granola was excellent. Our breakfast server was very friendly. One thing we found a bit strange no one was there to greet us and check us in at the front desk and to check us out. There was a box on the desk with our name on it and a sign that said to fill out the form (along with the key to our room) in the envelope and return to the box. We didn't see any staff until the next morning

A nice cozy 18 room inn with made to order breakfast from 8-9:30am. A quick check-in and check-out procedure. Simple furnishings in our room but with a comfy bed and good hot water pressure in the shower. Parking for guests and about a 10 minute walk to the main street of town.

Excellent and pleasant service at reception and at the complementary breakfast. Room was clean and comfortable. I appreciated that the window opened to allow fresh air inside during the night. The portable AC unit cooled the room well on a warm day, but would have been too noisy for me at night. I was looking forward to enjoying the evening and morning on the wrap around porch areas; mostly dining table type chairs outside, with dust on them and the little tables near them, were not what I had expected in the way of clean & comfy outdoor seating spaces, so I spent more time in my room. La Conner is a fun town to explore, and has a great boardwalk along the Swinomish Channel— all within walking distance of this Inn.

A loud air conditioner with lots of lights prevented a good night sleep. Turn the air conditioner off and the room heats up quickly. Breakfast was average at best. Not going back. Location was at the edge of town, but within walking distance of local attractions.

We have stayed at the Wild Iris Inn over the last 9 years for our anniversary all but 2 years. This year 2022 in July was disappointing to say the least. Where did the cookies and wonderful staff go? No greetings at the desk upon arrival unless u call a telephone with the message "dial 0 for assistance " a greeting. Rooms are unkept, dirty carpet, dirty jacuzzi tub and rooms seem outdated. Breakfast is horrible with unhealthy foods prepared by the help ... The management not so friendly. We had power outages more than once in our room and then a entire hotel outage. We had an early dinner cruise planned and when we approached the management letting him knowbwe needed light in the bathroom to get ready he said we could take a shower in the dark. Bathroom was pitch black. We also asked if we could get a refund for that day the power was out and was told no It was still before 11am checkout time and we didn't want to stay in a room with no power and no set time for the power to come back on. After I responded to management the female manager threatened to have me removed from the premises . We will never be back........ I only hope the owners see this review and do something about the poor management situation before the Inn gets any worse Change management Do a descent Breakfast Clean up the rooms Thank you for listening Unhappy couple
