My wife and I stayed at the Skagit Bay Hideaway for one night on our recent trip to the Northwest. In between a few days in Seattle and Vancouver we decided to rent a car and do a one day/night trip up Whidbey Island on our way from Seattle to Vancouver. We are certainly glad we did. Whidbey Island is...

When I discovered I had reserved for the wrong night, completely my own fault, I emailed and ultimately called to see if they could help me despite being within the cancellation period. Earlene laughed with me over my error and was able to accommodate me on the night I want without charging the cancellation penalty. That makes me look forward...

This was our 2nd visit and it was even better than we remembered from our first visit a number of years ago! We arrived late on a Friday night, tired and hungry, after the local restaurants had stopped serving dinner. The owners called the La Conner Brewery and arranged a wonderful dinner we could pick up and bring back to...

We were looking for a place to get "lost", completely disconnect from the world...and we found it with Skagit Bay Hideaway. We left with hearts full of sweet memories. Like others have mentioned already, we loved the multi-jetted shower, the fireplace in the jacuzzi - as well as the view out from the jacuzzi, and the kitchen. The orange-cranberry breakfast...

We came to Skagit Bay Hideaway for Valentine's Day. I loved having the kitchen because I was able to make a romantic dinner for my husband and we could enjoy the suite and hot tub. Owners were very friendly and told us of plans to make path to the beach and why the hot tub is called the "treehouse" Ask...

If you want to explore both the coastal areas and mountain regions of Northwest Washington, staying in the La Conner area is an excellent choice. The Hideaway sits on a steep hillside nestled in evergreen trees above Skagit Bay. It is a beautiful location. We saw some of the best sunsets we had ever seen at the Hideaway. When my...

Skagit Bay Hideaway is always such an incredible experience for me. I go there to renew my spirit. What you will notice is the attention to every detail....and the quiet. The walk in shower is 'to die for' with mulitple heads. There's art on the walls from local artists, which I so appreciate. When you go upstairs to the bedroom...

This place must have changed owners, as there are no longer hot tubs on the decks, and apparently all of the charming patios on the property are off-limits to guests. I was stopped by the owner while scoping out the three patios on the property, all of which had lovely views and comfortable seating, and the owner politely told me...

In twelve years of being the owners of Skagit Bay Hideaway we have only had four people/couples walk down below our home. I walked into our living room just as Barb looked up and was startled (as I’m not used to seeing someone in the lower yard). Since she saw me I walked out n the deck to talk to...

This is much more than your typical Bed and Breakfast! It is actually an intimate suite for two with exquisite design touches and attention to detail throughout. Whether you are enjoying the view of the beautiful Skagit Bay by the cozy fire sipping a glass of wine, or upstairs relaxing in the rooftop hot tub among the trees outside your...
