We stayed here several times and every time was as good or better than the previous stay. Exceptionally clean and comfortable, super delicious and plenty breakfast, accomodating and pleasant office staff, and wonderful views. We love staying here and will continue coming back.
We just got back from a stay at the Inn at Langley. We stayed in the Saratoga Suite which was spacious and very comfortable. Very quiet with a fantastic view of the sound - whales about 50 yards offshore in front of our deck were...More
Remarkable corner room with great views of Saratoga Passage, comfortable bed and soothing decor. Great place to just relax and enjoy the quiet. The village of Langley is walking distance, with several upscale shops and restaurants.
There were some chinks in the armor, however. An...More
The room was warm and cozy. The little touches from snacks to water bottles to a working fireplace. Loved our stay here. Enjoyed the view from our balcony. The breakfast was wonderful with homemade sweets. It was a little cold in March, needed a warm...More

In addition to the above, think about parking your car at the Coupville ferry landing and walk on the Port Townsend Ferry to Port Townsend. Great Victorian town with a lively waterfront, great shops and Victorian homes. I believe all of downtown is on the National Historical Record.
On Whidbey I would add Ft. Casey and in Anacortes Washington Head Park which is at the end of Fidalgo Island past the Anacortes Ferry Landing. You can walk or drive the loop around the park.
Don't know how much time you have so here is the most important to see in order. Deception Pass (do not miss), Mt Erie ( you drive almost all the way up and the rest is a stroll not even a hike. Port Townsend can be a day itself.
One last piece of advice. When traveling anywhere on Hwy 20 absolutely drive the posted speed limit. This stretch is notorious for speed and radar traps.
Hope this helps. Enjoy your trip.
