My husband and I really enjoyed the Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort. The cabins were comfortable and set off from each other for privacy. The buffet organic meals in the main lodge were delightful. I wish our grown sons had been with us since they would have gone back for second and third courses. The grounds here are beautiful and you...

The Sleeping lady has absolutely beautiful surrounding views however for the amount of money you'll spend here, we felt like the accomodations could have been nicer. The dinner and breakfast were delicious and fresh but again, overpriced by a landslide. Dining service was friendly but the front desk staff was very short with us when we were checking out and...

Everything about the SL is wonderful-the food was fabulous, fresh, tasty and beautifully presented (we did the Harvest Fall dinner). The service was great! One person in our group is vegan, and they totally accommodated her needs (she set this up prior to arriving). The rooms are totally cool, like upscale camping, w. lofts and alcoves. The grounds are beautiful...

Understated architectural design; well thought out and planned. The landscaping is all about enhancing the existing natural environment; native plants, wild birds, wonderful art. Private and quiet; it was a great escape. I would go back just to eat dinner and breakfast again; well prepared, local and plentiful. Very diverse menu and everything was delicious. Nothing superficial here just a...

In no particular order! 1. THE SETTING is sublime. It feels like a National Park campground, far from the madding crowds of Leavenworth, perched on the banks of Icicle Creek, and surrounded by mountain views. Sunlight glitters through pine needles and the scent of Ponderosa pine fragrances the air. Paths thread together a series of rustic wooden lodgings. The forest...

My husband and I had a fabulous time at The Sleeping Lady. It is such a peaceful place to stay, surrounded by nature; such a great break from the city. We found it very charming and really enjoyed feeling far away from out busy lives. The food is fantastic; about the only bad thing would be not being able to...

I have to admit that nothing was wrong-- much. It's just that the 'green' ecological theme seems superficial and over-hyped. I understand that eco-friendly means using less, but logically price and spartan conditions are inversely related. In this case though, the price is high to experience the austerity. The pool is very nice, but made of fake rock, which right...

I have stayed three consecutive summers at the Sleeping Lady for a conference and haven't been disappointed. The rooms are absolutely lovely and I often feel like I am back at summer camp (but with better food and beds). The restaurant serves great food but maybe needs more options for people that don't like seafood and mushrooms. The fresh fruit...

Right in the forest this is a lovely place in winter or summer with different types of activities to be shared by all ages. The Icicle river is great to look at and even go for a quick splash. The pool and jacuzzi surrounded by big rock boulders are inviting. The food is of the highest quality. No smoking facility...

Everything was top-notch: friendly, knowledgeble service, beautiful grounds, spotlessly clean rooms, great amenities, fantastic food and stiff drinks. Relaxing and romantic for couples. Will definitely stay here again and recommend.
